In Composer Island and My Singing Monsters: Composer, various Monsters can produce different types of music qualities. Some monsters sing, some monsters play pitched instruments, others play unpitched instruments. Some monsters play high notes, some monsters play low notes; some play one set of percussion, others play a whole set of percussion. Knowing which monsters play what and how they would sing is important for making great Composer music.

Below will split monsters into "singing", "pitched instruments", and "unpitched instruments". Monsters that sing will go into "singing", monsters that do not sing but play a tuneable note will go under "pitched instruments", while monsters that don't play a tuneable note will go under "unpitched instruments".

Note: Use of terminology like "C4" will be used. Note that "C4" will be regarded as Middle C and that any numbers below or above it will be regarded as that many octave below or above Middle C.
