Cloverspell is an Auxiliary Seasonal Event celebrated on Faerie Island, and is an element manifested by Ffidyll. It is the Monster World equivalent of St. Patrick's Day, and is celebrated from early March to mid March. It is also celebrated in a Time of the Season promotion during Anniversary Month. Due to its Out of Season Event coinciding with Anniversary Month, it is only available once outside of its Seasonal Event.
During Cloverspell, the following are available: Ffidyll (and its Rare and Epic variants), event themed Costumes, event themed Decorations, event themed Obstacles, and the Seasonal Island Skin. There are also special sales and promotions, and sometimes new content is released.

History[]
Below details the history of past Cloverspell celebrations.
Cloverspell 2023[]
Cloverspell started on Wednesday, March 8th and ended on Monday, March 20th. This was the first celebration of Cloverspell that started off with Ffidyll and the Dipsters making their debut on Faerie Island. The 13th wave of Amber Island started with Tuskski and Rare Edamimi making their debut on the island. The Colossal Conundra began on Cold Island with the Broken-down Coloss-Eye as an access to the Conundra. The Cloverspell Island Skin was also released and an option to buy it for use all year round this event.
Cloverspell 2024[]
Cloverspell started on Wednesday, March 13th and ended on Monday, March 25th. The event introduced four new Seasonal Costumes (for Furcorn, Wimmzies, Cantorell, and PongPing), four new Seasonal Decorations (Clover Contraption, Pot of Enchanted Coins, Green Cupcakes, and Gigantic Metal Shoe), and the discovery of Epic Ffidyll on its respective Islands. This was also the first Cloverspell to feature Rare Ffidyll, which had released in Ffidyll's Out of Season event in September last year. The event also introduced Rare Tuskski and Rare Bonkers. Rare Dermit, which released shortly after the event ended, is partially themed around Cloverspell.
Legacy Celebration[]
Before Cloverspell's addition in 2022, St. Patrick’s Day has been celebrated with various small promotions. In 2014 and 2015, a graphic was shared on My Singing Monsters' official Social Media. In 2017, 2019, and 2020, select groups of green Monsters were either made available for a limited time or put on sale.
2017's "Going Green" Promotion, which lasted from March 17th to 20th, released the following green Monsters: Rare Toe Jammer, Rare Oaktopus, Rare Clamble, Rare Quibble, Rare Spunge, Rare Thumpies, Rare Congle, Rare Deedge, Rare Cybop, Rare Scups, Rare Riff, and Rare Quarrister. In Dawn of Fire, various green Monsters were made 50% off on the Continent.
2019's "Easy Being Green" Promotion had three groups of Plant Element Monsters that players voted between on Facebook. The group with Rare Deedge, Rare Oaktopus, Rare Furcorn, Rare Shellbeat, and Rare Clamble won. In Dawn of Fire, all Triple-Element Monsters with the Plant Element were made 50% off on the Continent.
2020's "Green Thumb" Promotion, which lasted from March 20th to 23rd, made all Plant Element Epics available. In Dawn of Fire, all Plant Element Quads were made 50% off on the Outer Islands.
Promotions[]
Second Time's the Charm[]
Starting on April 5th, 2023 and ending on April 7th, 2023, this was a second celebration of Cloverspell to give another chance for people to get Ffidyll.
Easy Being Green[]
During this promotion, Rares with a primarily green color scheme become available. This includes Rare Toe Jammer, Rare Oaktopus, Rare Spunge, Rare Clamble, Rare Scups, Rare Riff, Rare Stogg, Rare Wynq, Rare Theremind, Rare Xyster, Rare Bridg-it, Rare Ghazt, Rare Jellbilly, Rare Whisp, Rare Fung Pray, Rare Sox, Rare Boodoo, Rare Kazilleon, and Rare Strombonin. This is a recurring promotion that was started in 2017, before Cloverspell was celebrated (see Legacy Celebration). Note that Rare Candelavra, Rare Punkleton, and Rare Viveine do not become available for this promotion, despite their color schemes.
Stroke of Luck[]
During this promotion, all Faerie Island Rares and Epics become available to buy or breed. This happens at the end of Cloverspell.
Behind the Facade[]
Starting in March 7th, 2024, Faerie Island gets discounted by 50% one week before Cloverspell starts. The promotional image also includes a teaser for an upcoming costume during the event, such as Buckled Caps.
A Rare Fortune[]
During this promotion, Rare Ffidyll becomes available on Faerie Island and Seasonal Shanty.
Out of Season[]
Cloverspell does not have an Out of Season Event due to the Cloverspell Time of the Season sale during Anniversary Month coinciding with it, Cloverspell is only available once outside of its Seasonal Event.

Notes[]
- The St. Patrick's Day graphic used on social media in 2014 and 2015 shows Bowgart, Mammott, and Furcorn in green costumes. Furcorn's costume would later be brought officially into the game with the Cloverspell Costume series, during Cloverspell 2024.
- Mammott and Furcorn's costumes were also shown again in 2019.
- Despite St. Patrick's Day being a season where Plant-Elementals were on sale, Cloverspell is celebrated on an Island that doesn't have the Plant Element available for breeding, that being Faerie Island.
- The scene in the Cloverspell 2023 trailer where Tuskski’s egg nearly falls onto Faerie Island was actually a teaser for the Fire Expansion update, in which Tuskski (alongside Krillby and PongPing) would be officially added onto the island.[1]
