“ | The vine-like Clamble protects its tender Plant head with flat metallic shells. As it grows, it saves the cast-off plates. While the element of Cold is in its family tree, the Clamble's green parts do not tolerate freezing. | ” |

Strategy[]
As a Plant (), Earth (
) and Cold (
) Monster, Clamble is naturally strong against Earth (
) Monsters and attacks, but are weak against Air (
), Water (
) and Cold (
). Clamble has no costumes with the Air (
) or Water (
) moves, which means Clamble misses out on dealing strong damage against Furcorns.
Costume Choices:
- Veggie Burger is a direct upgrade of the Plant move, providing a notable damage boost.
- You've Got Mail Replaces Hi-Hat Sizzle with an Earth coverage, which is good for battling monsters with the Air (
) element when your Clamble is level 9 or under. When at level 10 however, it unlocks another Earth move Mood Plating, which is stronger than the upgrade move. Therefore, it is not recommended to equip a level 10+ Clamble with this costume.
Notes[]
- The "Veggie Burger" skin design is possibly a reference to the Steamed Hams meme from The Simpsons. The link for clams and hamburgers is as follows: Seymour Skinner tells Superintendent Chalmers that the smoke coming from the oven is "steamed clams", but the hamburgers Skinner brought in made Chalmers doubt about the supposed "steamed clams" but instead Skinner tells him that those hamburgers are referred to as "steamed hams".
- Update 3.2.0 permanently changed the price of many costumes, including the Veggie Burger costume, changing from 85
(discounted) and 127
(full price) to 20
(discounted) and 30
(full price). You've Got Mail changed from 105
(discounted) and 157
(full price) to 15
(discounted) and 22
(full price).
- The "Veggie Burger" costume is also sometimes referred to as the "Clamburger" costume.
- The "You've Got Mail" costume might be a reference to a soundbite that played when an AOL user received an email. It is also a pun on chainmail.
- The "Working in the Lab" costume appears to be based on a common depiction of Igor, a hunch-backed stock character that often serves as the assistant to a mad scientist.
- The costume's name is also a reference to "Monster Mash", a Halloween-themed novelty song preformed by Bobby Pickett.
