Quad Element Monsters, also known as Quads for short, are Monsters which contain four Elements, usually all four elements of the breedable Monsters available on their Island. When obtainable through breeding, they are created by breeding either two Doubles together, or one Triple and a Single, the latter yielding a better chance of breeding a Quad.
Like Triple Element Monsters, breeding Quads is not guaranteed to be successful, and so may result in one of their parent's offspring instead. Magical and Fire Quads have an even lower chance than Natural Quads. Due to this lower chance of success, it is recommended to use Monsters with lower breeding times, so that it takes less time to retry the combination.
The seventeen Quads found on the Natural Islands, Fire Islands, Magical Islands, Magical Sanctum, Ethereal Workshop and the Ethereal Islets are nicknamed "the Bosses", according to the Boss Monument. Each one represents a Natural, Fire, Magical or Ethereal element, class or Island.
