“ | The Cantorell may seem to be a rather small-statured Monster to the naked eye, but beneath the soil, this fungal fiend grows a far-reaching system of mycelia capable of propagating dozens of clones! As more and more like-minded Cantorell caps emerge from the earth, they often compete for space both physical and musical. It's not uncommon to spot a Cantorell choir growing in a ring-like shape, so that each cap can feel included. | ” |

Description[]
Cantorell is a Triple-Element Magical Monster exclusive to Faerie Island. It was added on December 11th, 2019 during Version 2.3.5. It is best obtained by breeding Squot and Noggin. By default, its breeding time is 16 hours long. As a Triple-Elemental, Cantorell has a somewhat decent Coin production.
Song[]
Audio Samples:
Large head (Memory Game):
Small head:
Voice actors: Chris Pollard or Sam Clark (large head), Matthew J. Stewart (small head)
The large head sings "Wimmie-wow-wimmie-wow-wimmie-wow, wimmie-wow-wimmie-wow-wimmie-" and the small head then interrupts with a deep "Whoa-no!".
Breeding[]
Cantorell requires the elements of Earth (), Cold (), and Faerie (). Breeding combinations are as follows:
- Of these, Squot+Noggin is the best combination, as failing and breeding a Noggin lets you retry the combo almost instantly. Drumpler+Floot Fly is a close second, because it has low average times in case of failure.
Cantorell can also be bred in a breeding failures. Some combinations that result in a Cantorell in a breeding failure include:
- + Cantorell and Pladdie
(Good choice, very small chance of getting Pladdie)
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Cantorell:
- Squot (requires level 9)
- Tree Hut (level 17)
- Inverdigus Fern (level 25)
- Beeyoot Tree (level 8) ()

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption[]
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials and Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Cantorell eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials and Vessels; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Cantorell eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month.
