My Singing Monsters

The strong amalgam of five precious Elements is what creates the fierce flame shining elegantly atop Candelavra's opulent frame. In particular, the blue flame signet set in the forehead of the Fire Top Boss represents the figurative 'complete combustion' of this Monster's indomitable spirit. If ever a Monster feels adrift in the vast macrocosm of the Monster World, it need only gaze upon the horizons for the warm flame of Candelavra, and let it be the shining beacon that guides them to their destination, wherever that may be.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Candelavra is a Quint-Element Fire Monster that is found on Fire Haven and Amber Island. It was added alongside Tiawa on August 3rd, 2022, during version 3.6.0. As a Quint-Element Fire Monster on Fire Haven, Candelavra is only available at select times. When available, it is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 500 Relics (Relics). By default, its incubation time is 3 days and 8 hours long. As a Quint-Elemental, Candelavra has excellent Coin production, although it is less efficient per bed then Tring. The Goal for placing your first Candelavra rewards the player with 250,000 Coins (Coins) and 5 Relics.

On Amber Island, Candelavra is only available at select times. When available, it is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 40 Relics as a Vessel, which then can be revitalized by zapping eggs into it. As a Fire Quint-Elemental, Candelavra has a superb Relic production.

Song[]

Instrument: Female choir

Candelavra sings in a manner similar to a synthesised female choir. On Amber Island, it sings alongside Flum Ox, Krillby, Rootitoot, Drummidary, Gnarls, and Boskus in the beat drop.

On Fire Haven, it sings alongside Kayna, Tweedle, and Glowl. It starts singing during Rare Wubbox's part and continues on from there, but then stops at the very end when Gobbleygourd starts to sing.

VSTs[]

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Breeding[]

Unlike in Dawn of Fire, where Candelavra is best bred with Bisonorus and Noggin, Candelavra cannot breed or be bred. Instead, it must be purchased from the Market. On Amber Island, it must be purchased as an inactive Vessel and revitalized by zapping eggs.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Candelavra:

See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.

Note: All of Candelavra's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Candelavra's happiness.

Monsters Who Like It[]

The following Monster(s) will increase their happiness by 25% when being placed near Candelavra or when Candelavra and a Unity Tree are on the Island. These may or may not also be Candelavra's likes as well:

Revitalizing[]

On Amber Island, Candelavra must be powered up rather than being bred. Unlike Wublins and Celestials, the allotted time to fill a Vessel does not start when the first egg is zapped, but instead are only available to purchase and fill at select times. The inventory must be completed in this time. When a purchased vessel is incomplete after the time, it will disappear and half of the relics spent will be given back. You will also get the option to revive Candelavra by purchasing the missing eggs with Diamonds. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]

Like other Monsters on Amber Island, Candelavra can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 40Diamonds. Candelavra requires a total of 1,800Diamonds for all eggs to be filled.

Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.

Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Candelavra's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.

Statistics[]

Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Notes[]

  • Candelavra's name seems to be a portmanteau of 'candelabra' and 'lava'.
  • Candelavra was the first Quint-Element Monster to appear in both the original game and DoF.
  • Candelavra requires the most eggs out of all the Fire Monsters on Amber Island.
  • When Candelavra was first released, its vessel's symbols were in the wrong order.
  • Candelavra and the other Quint-Element Monsters had the longest incubation time of all Monsters at 80 hours. Its enhanced incubation time is 60 hours; the same as Rare Wubbox (the monster who previously held the title for the longest incubation time).
    • Since Rare Candelavra has been released, the Rare-Fire Quint(s) now take the throne of the highest incubation time.
  • Even though it's the Fire Quint, it has Water Island's elements plus Fire. This is because there is one less Natural Island than the elements in Dawn of Fire (unless you count Fire Haven, which is not a Natural Island, but does have four of Candelavra's elements and Candelavra itself).
    • Candelavra having Water Island's elements is accurate, as Water Island lacks the Cold Element, and Fire is the "opposite" element of Cold, despite the amount of Fire Monsters (every monster that shares Boskus' elements, either Fire or Magical) that have the Cold Element.
  • A group of Candelavras is called a mint. This is shown in Rare Candelavra's bio.
  • Candelavra is significantly louder on Fire Haven than on Amber Island.
  • Prior to version 4.1.4, the flames on Candelavra’s hands were less visible. This was changed to be more noticeable, alongside its Rare variant.
  • Being the Fire Quint, Candelavra represents the Fire Element most prominently in its appearance, despite it having Water Island's elements.
    • As of now, Candelavra is also the only Quint to be on an Island that appropriately matches both its element and its appearance, that being Fire Haven.
  • Candelavra and Drummidary are the only Quint-Element Monsters to not be on the Magical Island that's in replace of the its Outer Island(s). This is likely because in Dawn of Fire, Candelavra is on two Outer Islands instead of one. Those being Party Island and Space Island.
  • Candelavra is first seen and/or heard using its voice besides a synthesized choir in the video, "My Singing Monsters - Feast-Ember 2024", specifically at the 24-second mark.
