My Singing Monsters

Offspring of Shadow and Crystal, Boodoos are contradictory creatures. Its uncanny appearance belies a gentle soul who enjoys home-cooking, collecting vintage dolls and artisanal craft-making. A Boodoo's shakers and ornamental headdress represent only a small portion of its creative pursuits; monsters far and wide will travel to witness the unveiling of a Boodoo original.

Breeding[]

Boodoo can be bred using a combination of two Single-Element Ethereal Monsters. The combination is:

Boodoo can also be bred in breeding failures. Some combinations that result in a Boodoo in a breeding failure include:

(Best choice, 100% chance of a Boodoo if Rare Boodoo is unavailable)

Boodoo can also be bred with a Single-Element Ethereal Monster if you already own it.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Boodoo:

Notes[]

  • Boodoo's name is a combination of the word "voodoo" and the onomatopoeia for scaring, "boo". Voodoo or Vodou is a religion found in Haiti or in certain parts of North and South America.
  • In Rare Boodoo's bio, it is hinted that Boodoo may have a third eye hidden by its mask.
  • Boodoo appeared in Jammer Splash, and could only be won via the completion of the Ethereal Dungeon.
    • When Boodoo is unlocked, its name is spelled in CamelCase, as 'BooDoo'. This is the only place where it is written this way.
  • Boodoo is the only Ethereal Monster on Ethereal Island not to have a visible mouth. However, it does have visible teeth.
    • While Boodoo is the only one on Ethereal Island, both Meebkin and Auglur are Ethereals that also lack visible mouths.
  • Boodoo and Edamimi are one of the only Monsters to debatably have no differences in their sound, as they both play a tambourine.
