With update 2.1.3, the Monster level cap increased to 20, and every level a Monster achieves above 15 increases its chances of finding Bonus Items. Bonus Items generate specific amount of Treats, Diamonds, Relics, Starpower, or Keys.
Chances[]
The chances of receiving a Bonus Item for now are unknown, but we are working to unveil it. All we have for now is data collected on Rare Reebro and Rare Jeeode, giving a rough idea on how the chances change with leveling up.
Further tests have shown that Monsters that are harder to feed are more likely to produce a Bonus Item than easier to level up Monsters, but this remains an on-going topic of (slow) investigation.

- Despite the special Currencies and production of such on both Amber Island and all the Pocket Dimension Islands, any Monster past level 16 has a chance to produce bonus items, including those on the aforementioned Islands.
- It is possible to receive Bonus Items when tapping the Collect All button, when tapping the collection bubble above a Monster, or when selecting a Monster and tapping the Collect button.
- In version 3.5.0, the number of Relics you get as a bonus increased from 1 to 3.
- The Bonus Items announcement showed a picture of Yool, because of the fact that the feature was first added in Festival of Yay.
- Soul-linked Monsters can not generate Bonus Items.
