Bonkers go bonkers for thumpin’ on stumpies! Uh, we mean “stumps.” The understated sapling that the Bonkers thumps their fuzzy heads against is no Great Tree, but hey - they’ll take what they can get! It still emanates a particular magic that compels Bonkers to beat up on bark. While certainly befuddling to us, this behavior is only natural to the other inhabitants of the Bonkers’ percussive home dimension.

Description

Bonkers are two orange spotted finger-like worm creatures that stand upright from the ground. Between them is a crooked tree trunk that they tend to enjoy bonking onto. Naturally, there is some grass growing nearby the tree trunk.

Song

Audio Sample:

Instrument: Boomwhackers/PVC pipes

The Bonkers bonk their heads on the tree trunk to make a sound similar to a djembe or boomwhackers. According to its concept art, Bonkers plays PVC pipes. It plays in the second half of the Psychic Island song with Kayna, Poppette, Rootitoot, etc.

Breeding

The Bonkers can be bred with the elements Plant (Plant Element.png) and Psychic (Psychic Element.png). There is only one breeding combination:

Note that breeding a double element Psychic elemental is not a guaranteed success, as with all other Fire/Magical double elementals.

Likes

Every monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the monster, the monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a monster will still only increase its happiness by 25%. If there's a Unity Tree on the island, items don't need to be near the monsters. Below are the things liked by Bonkers:
