“ | The Blasoom has emerged from its ancient shell like a flower blossoming in the early days of spring, feeling refreshed and vibrantly alive. A surprising development in the Celestial's renewal was the disappearance of one of its elegantly oaky legs. While countless botanists and horticulturalists of the Plant Element have researched this loss of limb, the biological explanation behind its late leg growth remains elusive. The Blasoom appears undeterred however, happily hopping from place to place. | ” |

Description[]
Blasoom is a Celestial Monster representing the Plant Element and the month of April. It was added on June 27th, 2018 during Version 2.2.1. Blasoom is obtained by being purchased in the Market for 145 as an inactive statue, which can be revived by zapping all required Monster Eggs into it. It has the same currency production rate as the other Celestial Monsters.
Song[]
Audio Sample:
Instrument: Bassoon
Its song is a bassoon. Plays with Hornacle and Glaishur in the beginning of the song.
VSTs[]
Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.
VST: Kontakt 6
Sound library: Kontakt Factory
SoundFont: Bassoon
Breeding[]
Blasoom cannot be bred. Like all Celestials, it is bought at the Market as an inactive statue that must be woken up.
Reviving[]
The allotted time to fill a Blasoom in order to activate is 14 days. If the inventory is not completed in the time the Blasoom resets to an empty statue and all eggs inside are lost. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural Islands.

Filling In[]
Like other Celestials, Blasoom can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 40. Blasoom requires a total of 2,880 for all eggs to be filled.
Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.
Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Blasoom's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.
Income[]
Blasoom, like all other Celestials, will produce coins, diamonds, food, and shards, but at no specified rate, although always less than a day.
Multiple Blasooms may produce any of these four currencies independently from each other: Coins (), Shards (), Treats (), and Diamonds ().
Strategy[]
Blasoom does not require Monsters on Air Island, Fire Oasis, Faerie Island, and Bone Island.
Players with high level Monsters and permanent Wishing Torches should avoid using a breeding combination of a four-Element and a three-Element Monsters to get a three-element Monster egg, because the chances of obtaining an Ethereal monster that will block the breeding structure for a long time are high. Unless a respective Rare Monster is available, it is better to breed three-element Monster with another 1, 2 or 3-element Monster consumed by Blasoom.

Notes[]
- Blasoom's name is a portmanteau of "blossom" and "bassoon."
- Blasoom was discounted to 97 at initial release.
- The Baby Blasoom seems like it only needs to take up a 1x1 grid space. However, its statue takes up a 2x2 grid space, and reviving Celestials does not change their size.
- Blasoom and G'joob both make the sound of a bassoon, but where Blasoom plays longer, sustained notes, G'joob plays shorter notes.
- Funnily enough, Blasoom is the Plant Celestial, while G'joob is the Plant Island Mythical.
