“ | Right after it's synthesized, the Ethereal Blarret only has one functioning mouth: the top one attached to the rest of its face. Once it's a little older, the Monster's secondary and tertiary mouths learn to sing with preternatural speed… although a non-trivial amount of discipline and concentration is required to make sure they all sing in the right order. After a while though, the reflex becomes 'otama-tic.' Blarrets love getting their triple chins scratched by an Auglur's digital claws - although in the case of the two lower mouths, it's more like a neck scratch? | ” |

Description[]
Blarret is a Triple-Element Ethereal Monster that is found on Ethereal Workshop and Plasma Islet. It was added alongside Auglur, Yooreek, Meebkin and Gaddzooks on October 11th, 2023 during Version 4.1.0. As a Triple-Element Ethereal on Ethereal Workshop, it is obtained by successfully extracting the energies of a Plasma Meeb, a Shadow Meeb, and a Poison Meeb, using the Synthesizer by spending 2,500 . Its successful synthesis time is 1 day and 6 hours long. As a Triple-Element Ethereal, Blarret has worse Shard production than Single-Element or Double-Element Ethereals, but Ethereal Workshop lacks both of those, making it an ideal choice for the Island. The Goal for placing your first Blarret rewards the player with 100
.
On Plasma Islet, Blarret can be obtained by Dish-Harmonizing a Monster using the Dish-Harmonizer. Its incubation time is 1 day and 6 hours long. As a Triple-Element Ethereal Monster, Blarret has a decent Shard production compared to other Monsters on Plasma Islet.
Song[]
Audio:
Instrument(s): Otamatone
Performer: Dylan Cole (Ethereal Workshop), Celestyn (Plasma Islet)
Blarret makes the sound of an Otamatone. On Ethereal Workshop, its first track is entirely octave-doubled; on real Otamatones, the pitch range of the instrument can be changed by octaves using a switch on the back of the head. Blarret's second track is embellished with glissandos.
On Plasma Islet, its sound is entirely on one octave, and sounds more like a real Otamatone. It can also pitch bend at will.
Synthesizing[]
Blarret is only available for purchase or synthesizing on Ethereal Workshop. This requires using three Meebs in the Synthesizer attuned to the elements of Plasma, Shadow and Poison, with each Meeb carrying one element.

Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Blarret:

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Shards per hour and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the shards earned per minute, as well as the maximum shards earned.

Notes[]
- Blarret was teased by FGTeeV in a Billie Bust Up gameplay video, containing a show where Duddy guessed random characters based on their singing and silhouettes.[1]
- Blarret's name is a portmanteau of "ferret" and either "blare", "blah", or "blue".
- The line, "otama-tic" in Blarret's bio references the instrument its based on, the Otamatone.
- Blarret was designed and animated by cerealsnail/Katy Teeuwen. One of Blarret's name references her name.
- Katy and Jay (the intern who designed Auglur) requested Big Blue Bubble to make Blarret and Auglur friends.
- This explains why Auglur likes giving Blarret neck/chin scratches.
- In addition, both Blarret and Auglur have each other as one of their likes.
- Blarret also has a monster name Rulgua, which refers to Auglur, but backwards. This also applies to Auglur itself, where one of its own monster names is Blarret's name but backwards, that being Terralb.
- In Blarret's first track in the Workshop, another unknown sound can be heard in the background, which is speculated to not derive from the Otamatone.
- When Update 4.7 released, some of Blarret's back fur was missing. This was a bug as the Book of Monsters would’ve been updated to include this change if it was intended. This was fixed during Cloverspell 2025.
