Indigenous to the aquaslime pools of Ethereal Island, this blubberous beast always wants to be smack dab in the middle of the action. So that they never miss out on that action, Bellowfish cooperate to create each other's crystal-powered mechanized suits, which let them leave the water and join in the musical menagerie. That said, they're not particularly known for their punctuality; if there's a latecomer to a monster party, it's safe to assume a Bellowfish is the one who knocks.

Bellowfish is a double-element Ethereal Monster with the Crystal and Mech elements. It was added to The Colossingum on October 11th, 2023, during Version 4.1.0.

Once Bellowfish has been fed to at least level 5, it can be teleported to The Colossingum from Ethereal Island.

Strategy

As a Mech () and Crystal () Monster, Bellowfish is naturally both strong against Shadow () and Mech () Monsters and resistant to Shadow () and Mech () attacks. It is both weak against and vulnerable to Crystal () and Poison () Monsters and attacks. Whenever Bellowfish uses Mech () or Crystal () attacks, it heals itself based on its output damage. Like all Ethereal Monsters, Bellowfish will cease to heal itself after using any ethereal attack five times.

Bellowfish are not good for battling Fung Prays (or Flasques if the Ethereal Workshop monsters releases on the Colossingum), as the only Ethereal elements it has are Mech () and Crystal (), which are weak against these Monsters.

Costume Choices:

• Aquaslime Spout replaces its musical attack with a Water () attack, thus granting it Cold () coverage. It is not as good, however, against Shellbeat and its derivatives that have Plant ().
• Crystal Habit replaces its Mech () attack with a stronger Crystal () attack than Say My Name. When equipped however, it is not good against Pentumbras (if the Ethereal Workshop monsters release on the Colossingum) and their derivatives that have Poison () because even though Bellowfish has a musical move unlocked at the beginning, its only elemental moves is Crystal (), which is weak against these monsters.

Notes

• Bellowfish's "Say My Name" move is a reference to a famous line said by Walter White in Breaking Bad.
  • This is also a Crystal attack because the show in which this reference is made (Breaking Bad) is a show about crystal meth.
  • The move itself shares some similarities to Breaking Bad's theme tune.
• Bellowfish and Jellbilly are the two Double-Element Ethereals to have Water Element Costumes.
• Bellowfish and Kazilleon are one of the two pairs of monsters in the Colossingum to share the same stamina and power. The other pair is T-Rox and Thumpies.
• The name of the Polka Party move may reference the "Weird Al" Yankovic album of the same name.
• When using the Aquaslime Spout move, Bellowfish plays a piece of the nursery rhyme "I'm a Little Teapot"
