The Bamboo is the first Bog Crafting Item and overall, the sixth Crafting Item to be unlocked in the game, along with Polished Vegidian Crystal and Carved Vegidian Crystal. Its Trading Post Price Range is 165 - 275 Coins (
). It is unlocked at Level 6.

Bamboos are needed to craft into Bamboo Flutes in the Workshop, which requires 2 Bamboo, Single Spooky Costumes in the Costume Trunk, which requires 3, Mushroom Umbrellas in the Workshop, which requires 2, Chairs in the Workshop, which requires 4, Cradles in the Workshop, which requires 1, Amber Lollipops in the Candy Factory, which requires 1, Sunglasses in the Tailor, which requires 2, Booster Shots in the Apothecary, which requires 1, Rattles in the Workshop, which requires 2, Swamp Stews in the Cooking Pot, which requires 1, Copper Trumpets in the Workshop, which requires 3, Marionettes in the Toy Factory, which requires 3, and Kites in the Toy Factory, which requires 4.

Bamboos can also be fed directly to Monsters and can be used in the Skyship.
Crafting[]
To craft a Bamboo, simply drag the "Bamboo" icon from the "Items" menu and into the slots menu, from top-left to top-right, all the way to bottom-left to bottom-right (if the player has unlocked more slots). Then it will start generating a number of Bamboos, the number depending on how many slots they dragged into.
Alternatively, drag the "Bamboo" icon into the Structure itself to make the Bog start crafting one Bamboo; to craft multiple loads of Bamboo, repeat the process until they have the number of pending loads of Bamboo they desire.
It takes 5 minutes to craft one Bamboo without upgrades. On a max Bog, it takes 3 minutes and 17 seconds to craft one stick of Bamboo.
Once the Bamboo has been collected from crafting it, it rewards 1 
per Bamboo.
Skyship Requirements[]
When required in the Skyship, the 3 orders will require 1-8 Bamboo, making a total of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, or 24.
Strategy[]
Producing a mass-production of Bamboo is relatively easy, especially when highly active. To make a good supply of them, produce as many Bamboo as the player can on all of their Bogs. Wait every 3-5 minutes per Bamboo, depending on upgrades of their Bogs. Store a good supply of them and use them for whatever purpose, be it for other Crafting Items, for directly feeding Monsters, simply selling them, or giving them to the Skyship if it needs any.

- The Bamboo is the first Crafting Item of a Primary Structure that does not default to six slots.
- The Bamboo is the second-most required Crafting Item, with 13 different Crafting Items requiring this Crafting Item, only behind Seasonal Cheer, with 15. The third being both the Grain with only 11 different Crafting Items requiring this Crafting Item.
- Prior to Version 2.0.0, the Bamboo took 3 minutes to craft. Its previous price range was 30 - 50 Coins (
). - In the Version 2.3.0 Update, all items in the Market now sell for 5x the price. The Bamboo's previous price range was 33 - 55 Coins ().
