Anniversary Year was a year-long event that started on September 28th, 2022 and ended on October 11th, 2023. It started with the release of Mythical Island and ended with the release of the Double Element Ethereals on The Colossingum with 3 new costumes for each of them and Ethereal Workshop with five new monsters (Yooreek, Meebkin, Blarret, Gaddzooks, and Auglur). It was a year-long version of the Anniversary Month event.

September 2022

October 2022

• October 5th:

December 2022

• December 16th:

• January 18th:
  • The first Crescendo Moon was celebrated.
  • Carillong made its first appearance on Magical Sanctum.
  • Rare Xyster was released on Magical Sanctum.
  • Krystillium Castle was added on Ethereal Island and Magical Sanctum.
  • The Crescendo Moon Island Skin for Magical Sanctum was released to buy or use for trial.
• January 26th:

February 2023

• February 1st:

  • The Cloverspell Island Skin for Faerie Island was released to buy or use for trial.
  • Tuskski was released on Amber Island.
  • Rare Edamimi became available in the Crucible on Amber Island.
  • Edamimi's idle animation was changed.
  • Cold Island's Colossal Conundrum became available.
  • Plant Island's Coloss-Eye received a new bio.
  • Clamble uses its unused sound on Earth Island.
• March 13th:
  • The Summer Getaway event special event took place.
  • The SummerSong Island Skin for Earth Island was released.
• March 15th:
  • Prismatic Woolabees became available in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.
• March 29th:
  • The eleventh Eggs-Travaganza was celebrated. It was originally supposed to happen on March 22nd, but due to an ongoing issue with the game that many players with a Facebook login received, it was pushed back to the following week.
  • 9 new Eggs-Travaganza costumes were released.
  • The Eggs-Travaganza Island Skin for Water Island was released to buy or use for trial.
  • Rare HippityHop was released on Faerie Island.

April 2023

• April 5th:
  • Version 3.9.0 was released.
  • Anglow was released on Water and Mythical Island.
  • Pinghound was released on Mythical Island.
  • The first five Rare Wublins were released on Wublin Island.
  • Carillong can now be teleported to Seasonal Shanty after being fed to level 15 on Magical Sanctum.
• April 8th:
  • The earliest a player can restore the Coloss-Eye for Cold Island and awaken its Colossal.
• April 19th:
  • The first Echoes of Eco was celebrated.
  • Viveine made its first appearance on Amber and Shugabush Island.
  • The Echoes of Eco Island Skin for Amber Island was released to buy or use for trial.
  • Gnarls was released on Amber Island. It was originally supposed to be released on April 5th alongside Anglow, Pinghound and the Rare Wublins, but due to the above mentioned Facebook issue, it was pushed back to two more weeks.
  • Rare PongPing became available in the Crucible on Amber Island.
  • The Crucible receives its enhanced upgrade on Amber Island. This allows Rare monsters to evolve into their Epic forms, with the first two Epic Fire Monsters to be added to the island being Epic Kayna and Epic Whaddle.
  • Furcorn and Quibble received new Designs on Shugabush Island, having the Cold and Air Critters respectively.
• April 20th:
  • Version 3.9.1 was released.
• April 26th:
  • Epic Stogg and Epic Ziggurab became available in the Enhanced Crucible on Amber Island.
• April 27th:
  • Schmoochle's Breeding Time was changed from 1 day, 7 hours, 6 minutes, and 30 seconds to just 1 day, 7 hours.

May 2023

• May 3rd:
  • Epic Tring and Epic Boskus became available in the Enhanced Crucible on Amber Island.
  • Rare Clavavera was released on Bone Island and Seasonal Shanty during Clavavera's first Out of Season Event.
  • Air Island's Colossal Conundrum became available.
  • Rare Whajje was released on Wublin Island.
• May 10th:
  • Epic Glowl and Epic Rootitoot became available in the Enhanced Crucible on Amber Island.
• May 17th:
  • Version 3.9.2 was released.
  • The first Perplexplore was celebrated.
  • Spurrit made its first appearance on Fire Oasis.
  • The Perplexplore Island Skin for Fire Oasis was released to buy or use for trial.
  • Rare Wubbox made its first appearance on Fire Haven.
  • Epic Sneyser was released on Fire Oasis and in the Enhanced Crucible on Amber Island.
• May 24th:
  • Prismatic Drummidaries became available in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.

  • The second Month of the Mythical began.

• June 14th:
  • Rare Tiawa became available in the Crucible on Amber Island.
  • The special My Singing Monsters: The Board Game themed decoration, the Phoni-Mine, was released.
• June 21st:
  • Version 3.9.3 was released.
  • The Ethereal Singles made their first appearances on The Colossingum.
  • Water Island's Colossal Conundrum became available.
  • Rare Wubbox's animations on Cold, Air, Water, Earth, and Gold Islands received minor changes.
• June 28th:
  • The first SkyPainting was celebrated.
  • Whiz-bang made its first appearance on Light Island.
  • Rare Fluoress was released on Light Island and Magical Sanctum.
  • The Dipsters made their first appearance on Light Island.
  • The SkyPainting Island Skin for Light Island was released to buy or use for trial.

July 2023

• July 5th:
  • Prismatic Flum Ox became available in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.
• July 12th:
  • The eleventh SummerSong was celebrated.
  • Rare Incisaur became available in the Crucible on Amber Island.
  • Rare Tympa was released on Wublin Island.
  • 9 new SummerSong costumes were released.
• July 19th:
  • Rare Carillong was released on Magical Sanctum and Seasonal Shanty during Carillong's first Out of Season Event.

  • The earliest a player can restore the Coloss-Eye for Water Island and awaken its Colossal.

August 2023

• August 2nd:
  • Version 3.9.4 was released.
  • Scaratar and Loodvigg's Adult Forms were released on Celestial Island, with Adult Scaratar being first available to ascend on the Island.
  • Earth Island's Colossal Conundrum became available.
• August 9th:
  • The first MindBoggle was celebrated.
  • Boo'qwurm made its first appearance on Psychic Island.
  • The Dipsters made their first appearance on Psychic Island.
  • The MindBoggle Island Skin for Psychic Island was released to buy or use for trial.
  • Rare Bisonorus became available in the Crucible on Amber Island.
  • Rare Creepuscule was released on Wublin Island.
• August 30th:
  • The eleventh Anniversary Month is celebrated.

September 2023

• September 1st:

• September 6th:
  • Version 4.0.0 was released.
  • The 11th Anniversary Monument was released.
  • Buzzinga was released on Fire Haven and Mythical Island.
  • Knurv was released on Mythical Island.
  • Epic Jam Boree was released on Seasonal Shanty and Gold Island.
  • Epic Wubbox and Jam Boree, along with Rare Jam Boree and Epic Jam Boree, made their first appearances on Gold Island.
  • The special Anniversary Month themed decoration, the Spirit of Creation, was released.
• September 13th:
  • Rare Ffidyll was released on Faerie Island and Seasonal Shanty during Ffidyll's first Out of Season Event.
  • Prismatic Pummels became available in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.
• September 20th:
  • Rare Astropod was released on Wublin Island.
  • Mimic was released on the Continent and Cave Island in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.
• September 27th:
  • Prismatic Wynqs became available in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.
  • Adult Torrt was added to the Book of Monsters.
  • Two new monsters were teased on Josh Harmon and Landen Purifoy's YouTube Shorts.
• September 28th:
  • A third new monster was teased on Maytree's YouTube Short.
• September 30th:
  • The fourth and final new monster was teased on FGTeeV's video.

October 2023

• October 1st:
  • Adult Torrt was made available to ascend on Celestial Island.
• October 4th:
  • The Grand Finale sale made everything available for one more week.
  • BBB acknowledged the monster teasers announcing a trailer to come on that Saturday.
  • Schmoochle's Breeding Time was reverted back to 1 day, 7 hours, 6 minutes, and 30 seconds from just 1 day, 7 hours.
• October 7th:
  • The 4.1 Update trailer was released, announcing the Ethereal Doubles on the Colossingum and a new island, Ethereal Workshop.
• October 11th:
  • The Double Element Ethereals were released on The Colossingum, along with 3 new costumes for each of them.
  • Ethereal Workshop was released with five new monsters (Yooreek, Meebkin, Blarret, Gaddzooks, and Auglur).
  • Anniversary Month, and by proxy Anniversary Year, officially ended.
