- The Amber encasing the Thing, Flutter is from the sap of the World Tree. It has also been seen encasing Kayna in amber on Tribal Island, and encasing several species in the Shard Mountains in the dimension of Thingia.
- Flutter is from the dimension Thingia and originally is from the game Fling a Thing!.
- Flutter is one of the two "Things" that appear in My Singing Monsters, along Dongle's appearance in the Epic Scups' "Dongle The Thing" costume.
- At Level 28, a lucrative Goal becomes available for purchasing Ambered Thing.
- There is a similar Decoration that costs Starpower, it is called the Freed Thing, and features the Thing no longer being encased.
- Epic Scups' design is based on the “Thing” inside of the amber.
