| “ | On the same higher plane of existence that houses Gold Island resides the reunited halves of the Fire Colossal's spirit in the form of Amber Island; and while the concept of reunion figures prominently in both islands, how it is achieved differs greatly. Amber Island was conceived as a 'seed vault', manifesting the potential for all of the original Fire Monsters from the era of the Dawn of Fire as specialized Vessels. Everything from the sap-covered Green Trees that dot its landscape, to the powerful energies of the Relics encased inside its Amber Castle, connect it back to foundational elements of the Monster World, and indeed to the very essence of the multiverse's mighty but mercurial World Tree. Once brought into being, the Fire Monsters here sing a song of elation tempered with a wistfulness for simpler times. | ” |
About[]
Amber Island
is a safeguard for the ancient Fire Element, and just like Gold Island, is located in the Higher Plane.
Monsters on Amber Island are unlocked by zapping eggs from other Islands to fill the Vessels containing the essence of all Fire Monsters.
Different Vessels are available at different times, with varying time limits (lasting until the end of the wave and with the exception of Kayna's Vessel, which is always available to be bought in the Market and lacks a time limit). If a Vessel is not revitalized and hatched within its time limit, the Vessel will expire. You will be given the choice to either fill it with Diamonds (40 per egg), or claim half the Relics used to buy the Vessel and have it disappear from the Island.
Relics also play an important role in this Island, as they are:
- Needed to buy Vessels.
- Needed to remove Obstacles.
- Needed to upgrade the Castle.
- Needed to evolve Monsters in the Crucible.
- Produced by Monsters.
- Obtainable by selling (Note that sold Monsters cannot be bought back at the moment.).

Song Table[]
This is a chart that shows where each Monster plays in the song. Each column represents 8 beats in the song. The number next to each Monster indicates which track is being played at each part.
Indigenous Monsters[]
Amber Island is a home to already discovered Fire Monsters, as well as others new to the original My Singing Monsters. Amber Island also houses the Seasonal Monster Viveine, who has the Echoes of Eco Element.
Common Monsters[]
Common Monsters on Amber Island can be obtained by buying their Vessels in the Market, then zapping the required Monsters to them before revitalizing them.
Note that while the Vessels themselves do not have timers, all Vessels except Kayna's become available for a limited time, and have to be filled before this availability window ends.
This Google spreadsheet can be copied and used to track the Monsters needed to Revitalize Monsters. This is especially useful when there are multiple Vessels to keep track of. During Anniversary Month in 2022 and 2023, Vessels for all Common Monsters from the Fire Islands were made available in the Market. With two Breeding Structures on all Islands, it is possible to breed all the necessary eggs to fill all vessels in under two weeks.

Likes[]
Most Monsters on Amber Island only like other Monsters and do not like any Decorations. The only exception to this is Rare and Epic Viveine, who mostly like Decorations.
Note that, despite being one of its likes on Bone Island, Thrumble is not liked by Phangler on Amber Island for unknown reasons.
Monsters that like a Common variant also like the Rare variant. However, Rare Monsters have their own unique likes:
Rare Monsters on Amber Island will also like the Rare variants of the Common Monsters that they like. For instance, if a Rare Wynq likes a Floogull, it will also like a Rare Floogull. However, just like Rares from other Islands, they won't like Rare Monsters of their own species, so a Rare Woolabee won't like another Rare Woolabee, for example.
Epic Monsters also have their own unique likes. However, unlike Rares, they don't count as likes for Monsters that like their Common variants. The reason for this is uncertain.
Note that, despite being available on Fire Oasis as well, Kayna is only liked by Epic Whaddle on Amber Island. Similarly, Repatillo and Rootitoot are only liked by Epic Kayna on Fire Haven and Psychic Island, respectively. Also, Floogull is liked by Epic Stogg on Fire Haven, but not on Amber Island. In these cases, the exact reason for this is unknown. For Epic Kayna, however, it can be speculated that, due to Monsters having a maximum of 4 visible likes, it was pointless for it to have 6 Monsters as its likes. This is weird, considering that certain Monsters on other Islands have extra likes that do not appear on their likes charts.
Special Features[]
Obstacles[]
Removing the Obstacles from the Island earns the player Experience (
) and it opens up space to place more Monsters, Decorations, or Structures. Removed Obstacles are not gone permanently; they can be bought back with Diamonds (
) under the Decorations section in the Market. In total, it costs 169 Relics (
) to remove all Obstacles from the Island. Obstacles also change appearance if you are using a skin or if it is currently a Seasonal event.

Seasonal Event[]
During Echoes of Eco, Amber Island, along with its Obstacles, changes to match the event. Viveine and its variants become available, along with Echoes of Eco Costumes. The Island Skin can be bought for 1,250 Diamonds (
) or $4.99 to keep the appearance year round. Once the skin is purchased, special boosts will be applied to the Island, regardless of whether or not the skin is equipped. These include 10% faster incubation and 10% faster breeding. The skin was released on April 19th, 2023, during version 3.9.0. Below is its in-game description.
| “ | Great trees from little seeds grow, and that's certainly true of the Echoes of Eco! The plant life trapped in hardened sap has burst forth from its sheath, transforming the island into an auspicious arboretum filled with exotic tree species from another dimension of the multiverse. It's the culmination of a years-long conservation effort called Project SEED, undertaken by the Amber Colossal, to make sure that 'echoes' of the unique flora of the Greatfruit Grove is forever preserved. This Amber Island Skin will showcase the dendritic décor of the Echoes of Eco year-round. | ” |

Strategy[]
While the song of the Island is crucial, users may also want to use some of these numbers to help with planning which Monsters to feed first and make 100% Happy first, as well as plan frequency of Relic collection.
Due to the nature of Amber Island, please read the following carefully as it deviates from other Islands' Strategy sections.
The numbers below are as follows:
| Rate | Rate of income (income per Bed) at level 20 and at 100% happy |
| Max | Maximum income (max per Bed) at level 20 |
| Time | Estimated time to maximum income at level 20 and at 100% happy (shown as fraction of months) |
| Cost | Total cost to purchase the Vessel. For Rares, the cost is at least the cost of the Vessel, plus a minimum of 2 to fire up the Crucible to evolve. |
| Recoup Time | Time to recoup cost (as fraction of months) |

Notes[]
- Several facts imply that filling vessels on Amber Island is reviving extinct species of Monsters.
- The vessels resemble urns, or more accurately canopic jars.
- These Monsters disappeared in a great Calamity of some sort.
- The lore for the vessels states "This unique Vessel contains the essence of one of Monsters chosen to inhabit Amber Island, and that might one day be made viable with a little help from the spark of life."
- The lore for the Island states it was less a safe haven for living Monsters, and more a genetic vault of unrealized potential.
- Amber is often associated with well-preserved extinct life forms, such as in the movie Jurassic Park where dinosaur DNA is found stored in amber and used to revive living dinosaurs.
- Although, it is worth noting that only species that were first introduced on Amber Island are implied to have gone extinct.
- Amber Island's Colossal is the only Fire Colossal to have more than 1 eye, having 2; however, all 3 Fire Islands have the same Colossal spirit.
- Amber Island has been extended 4 times during the 14 waves, with waves 2, 4, 5, & 14 adding a new verse.
- Amber Island's in-game song being exactly three minutes long makes it the longest song in the original game. It is only beaten for the longest song in the entire franchise by the Continent, thanks to its final verse.
- Amber Island is the first Island to be updated during the life cycle of two different Islands; created in the middle of Seasonal Shanty's update cycle and still incomplete during the introduction of Mythical Island. Similarly, Starhenge was introduced to Dawn of Fire during the original game's Wublin Island's update cycle.
- Before version 4.0, of the Islands that had a Book of Monsters, Amber Island had the greatest amount of Commons of all Islands with 31. The same applies to the total amount Monsters with 96 once the Island is fully complete. (Assuming no more unique Monsters will be added).
- The tree Obstacles on Amber Island are heavily inspired by the Green Tree, one of the Obstacles from Dawn of Fire.
- Amber Island's rocks seem to be based off of Kayna, with the small rock resembling its feet, the medium rock resembling its hands, and the large rock resembling the volcano that's on Kayna's head.
- Amber Island is the only Island so far that instead of upgrading a Castle, it is rebuilt.
- When placing a Monster in the Hotel Structure, be aware that doing so will reset its production timer. For most Islands the loss from this will be negligible. However, due to the long resource production timers on Amber Island, you can easily unnecessarily lose out on Relics.
- All Amber Island Monsters that have only one like reuse a previously removed feature that was on all Rare Monsters, in which all their likes are a secret.
- The symbol stamped on the Colossal's forehead is the sigil of the Colossals. This symbol can be seen in many different places, such as the Star Rocks and floating around the Starhenge.
- From August 31st 7:00pm UTC to September 1st 3:00pm UTC, there were no Vessels other than Kayna available for purchase or filling, making this the first time for more than 12 hours for no sale to happen on Amber Island.
- After sales for all Vessels happen, there is a 1 week gap between the sale's end and the release of the next Wave. This has happened twice:
- From October 5th, 2022, the end of the Anniversary Month Vessel sale, to October 12th, 2022, the start of Wave 8.
- From January 4th, 2023, the end of the Festival of Yay Vessel sale, to January 11th, 2023, the start of Wave 11.
- As the idea of a 'Hex-Element Monster' for Dawn of Fire was deconfirmed by Big Blue Bubble during MSM Live April 2022, it is unlikely that said Hex-Element Monster will ever be added simultaneously to Amber Island, either.
- Furthermore, Big Blue Bubble also confirmed in the same stream that trying to combine all five Natural Elements with the Fire Element will instead result in the Electricity Element, which would make the Supernatural class of Monsters artificial "hexes."
- If the pattern with the releases of Rare Monsters stuck, Rare Bisonorus actually would have been released before Rare Incisaur. But during the start of SummerSong 2023 however, Rare Incisaur was released instead of Rare Bisonorus, thus breaking the aforementioned pattern. Although, Rare Bisonorus' Fan Kit image was still made earlier than Rare Incisaur's.
- On April 4th, 2023, Wave 13's deadline was moved from the next day to May 17th. An in-game message from Big Blue Bubble confirmed that this was due to the Facebook login issues that many players had, which also caused the beginning of Eggs-Travaganza 2023 to move from March 22nd to the 29th.
- Despite the extension, BBB confirmed in MSM Live April 2023 that Wave 14 would still be released in April, eventually turning out to be on the day Echoes of Eco started.
- There were several noteworthy bugs Amber Island had at some point:
- If all Monsters except Floogull were muted when Amber Island was visited, Floogull would become very bass boosted, with extremely loud and high reverb. It did not play its singing animation while this happened. There was a fix you may have needed to perform a force quit of the app, ensure you have a strong connection to the internet, and then launch the game before any changes took place.
- If the Floogull bug is achieved and other Monsters are unmuted, they will also be very bass boosted and would not play their singing animations the next time they played in the song.
- Prior to Amber Island Wave 2, Phangler played twice as often as it was supposed to; every other time it played, starting with the first time, it was supposed to be idle.
- When Wave 4 was first released, Barrb incorrectly required a Gobbleygourd egg instead of a Gob egg.
- When Wave 5 was first released, Whaddle plays its animation at Bowhead's verse, but not its sound, coincidentally, it wasn't supposed to play at that verse.
- Stogg played its playing animation during Flowah and Barrb's verse, but it did not make any noise. It was not supposed to play during this part.
- Sooza incorrectly took its names from the Rare Flowah name pool.
- Viveine's Vessel in the Market once showed that it was on most Islands instead of its respective Islands.
- Every Quint on Amber Island has 2 tracks.
- The Quints that made their series debut on Amber Island all released during their Element's Celestial Month.
- The Fire Quints made their series debuts in order of front Elements to back Elements, in the order Air, Plant, Earth, Water, and Cold.
- The first 4 Quad-Element Monsters on Amber Island (Yelmut, Flum Ox, Krillby, Edamimi) released in the reverse order of the 4 Magical Islands they were originally intended to be on (Light Island, Bone Island, Faerie Island, Psychic Island).
- With the exception of Gnarls, the Quints all like each other in the same order as when they were added to Amber Island.
- Candelavra's Mystery Like is Bowhead, Bowhead's Mystery Like is Drummidary, Drummidary's Mystery Like is Tuskski, and Tuskski likes Candelavra.
- None of the Monster species that made their series debut on Amber Island play with each other nor do any of them play during the chorus.
- During the first minutes of Perplexplore 2023, Amber Island was shut down for maintenance. The reason why is unknown.
- On May 22nd 2023, a remixed version of Amber Island released on streaming services. This remix includes a Ziggurab solo at the beginning, and Incisaur playing in the Yelmut verse after the beat drop.
- Episode 2 of Monster Mythos Season 2 reveals the name of the Amber Island Colossal, with its name being Dulcettéa.
- Amber Island is the only Island in the Higher Plane that Structures and Decorations can be placed on.
- To get the full song of Amber Island, you would need 1195 relics and 300 diamonds total. 755 relics to buy the vessels, another 440 relics to upgrade the castle up until Tier 7, and 300 diamonds to upgrade it to Tier 8, giving you enough beds to put all the available monsters on the island at once.
