My Singing Monsters Wiki
For the elder Celestial found in Dawn of Fire, see: Vhamp/DoF

When a problem comes along, you must revamp it. Faced with the eventual deterioration of its physical form, the adult Vhamp invests endless time and energy into novelty mechanisms, doodads and paintjobs to try and stay youthful and relevant. 'Mech-nical' difficulties being an inevitable part of the future, the Celestial of Mech has attempted to distract itself from such concerns by taking up a new hobby: a keen interest in all things Mythical.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Adult Vhamp is an adult Celestial Monster representing the Mech Element and the month of June. It was added alongside Rare Zuuker on May 29th, 2024, during version 4.3.0, though it was not obtainable until June 1st, 2024. It is obtained by ascending an awakened young Vhamp during the month of June by zapping all of the required eggs and then using 10 Keys (Keys). Unlike young Celestials, adults can earn Keys as well.

Ascension[]

Adult Vhamp is obtained by zapping all of the required eggs into a Vhamp and then using 10 Keys (Keys) for it to ascend. It is only available for the month of June (30 days). If the inventory is not completed by that time, Vhamp will remain as a young Monster and all eggs inside are lost. Unlike Rare and Epic Wublins, who are obtained in a similar method, the Vhamp remains awake and playing as its inventory is filled. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]

Like other Celestials, Adult Vhamp can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 75 for regular eggs, with the amount for Flex Eggs varying by its type. Adult Vhamp requires a total of 3,900 for all eggs to be filled.

Since all non-Flex eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.

Wildcards may be used for filling eggs in Adult Vhamp's inventory. However, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters, such as Seasonals or Flex Eggs.

Income[]

Adult Vhamp, like all other adult Celestials, will produce Coins, Diamonds, Treats, Shards, and Keys, but at no specified rate, although always less than a day.

Multiple adult Vhamps may produce any of these five Currencies independently from each other: Coins (), Shards (Shards), Treats (Treats), Keys (Keys), and Diamonds ().

Strategy[]

Before the start of June, breed as many Monsters in advance as you can. Start with the Mythicals on their respective Islands, it is noted that you cannot zap eggs from Mythical Island. Then breed Tring, Sneyser, and Riff, as they have the longest breeding times. Then, simply breed the rest of the Monsters. It's recommended to breed Scups on Water Island, PomPom on Earth Island, Congle on Cold Island, and T-Rox on Plant Island as to leave Air Island open for Riff, or any other Monster you might need because most of the Monsters adult Vhamp needs comes from there. Cybop can come from Fire Haven, Quibble, Pango, Maw, and Congle can come from Fire Oasis, Drumpler can come from Faerie Island, and Fwog can come from Bone Island. This covers all of the Monsters from Air Island that adult Vhamp needs.

Monculus is arguably the most challenging Monster to obtain in the inventory, since it's only available to obtain on Ethereal Island, and you cannot zap eggs from Seasonal Shanty. Adult Vhamp doesn't need any eggs from Ethereal Island other than Monculus, so you should try as hard as you can to get one.

It is likely that there will be a Mythical Breeding Bonanza in June, which increases the chances of breeding Mythical Monsters. This is a good opportunity to breed the Mythicals for adult Vhamp if they are not bred beforehand.

The Rares are a tough case as there is no concrete telling as to when a Rare Monster could be available. And unlike Rare Wublins, the Rares are lost after the timer ends. The promotions "Loud and Proud" and "Four-Midable" will likely occur every June, so for candidates for the Flex Eggs, consider Rare Tring and Rare Sneyser (which you may obtain by accident while filling in the other inventory slots).

Notes[]

  • Adult Vhamp is the penultimate adult Celestial to be released in the game, the last being Adult Galvana.
    • It also released alongside the penultimate Rare Wublin, Rare Zuuker.
  • Adult Vhamp is the last adult Celestial released to:
    • Represent an Ethereal Elemental.
    • Be an instrumental on Celestial Island.
  • Adult Vhamp's appearance is a reference to the band Devo, with its red cap resembling the band's energy dome hats.
    • The first line in its bio also references the band's most popular song, Whip It, specifically the lyric "when a problem comes along, you must whip it."
  • Adult Vhamp is the only adult Celestial to have Mythical Flex Eggs in its inventory, and the only adult Celestial to require Mythical Monsters at all.
    • This also makes it the only adult Celestial to require Single Element Monsters as Flex Eggs, and to require non-Rare Flex Eggs.
    • This may be due to its obsession with Mythical Monsters, as mentioned in its bio, and the fact that it released in Month of the Mythical.
  • Adult Vhamp was the first and currently only Monster with an inventory in the game that requires an egg from Ethereal Island, that being Monculus.
