Adult Loodvigg is an adult Celestial Monster representing the Shadow Element and the month of September. It was added alongside Adult Scaratar on August 2nd, 2023 during Version 3.9.4, though it was not obtainable until September 1st, 2023. It is obtained by ascending an awakened young Loodvigg during the month of September by zapping all of the required eggs and then using 10 Keys (). Unlike young Celestials, adults can earn Keys as well.

Ascending[]

Adult Loodvigg is obtained by zapping all of the required eggs into a Loodvigg and then using 10 Keys () for it to ascend. It is only available for the month of September (30 days). If the inventory is not completed in that time, Loodvigg will remain as a young Monster and all eggs inside are lost. Unlike Rare and Epic Wublins, who are obtained in a similar method, Loodvigg remains awake and playing as its inventory is filled. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]

Like other Celestials, Adult Loodvigg can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 75 for regular eggs, with the amount for Flex Eggs varying by its type. Adult Loodvigg requires a total of 2,840 for all eggs to be filled.

Since all non-Flex eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.

Wildcards may be used for filling eggs in Adult Loodvigg's inventory. However, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters, such as Seasonals or Flex Eggs.

Income[]

Adult Loodvigg, like all other adult Celestials, will produce Coins, Diamonds, Treats, Shards, and Keys, but at no specified rate, although always less than a day.

Multiple adult Loodviggs may produce any of these five currencies independently from each other: Coins (), Shards (), Treats (), Keys (), and Diamonds ().

Strategy[]

Pre-breed as many of the Monsters before September. Start by the Magical Quad, they are best obtained by Gloptic + Oaktopus or Rooba + Toe Jammer (For Gloptic), Pladdie + Drumpler or Clavi Gnat + Noggin (For Pladdie), Plinkajou + Fwog or Banjaw + Noggin (For Plinkajou), and Blow't + Furcorn or TooToo + Mammott (For Blow't). It is recommended to breed Congle on Air Island, Thumpies on Earth Island, Bowgart on Plant Island, and Spunge on Water Island, as to leave Cold Island open for the Deedge. Quibble, Pango, and Maw can be bred from Fire Oasis, Dandidoo can be bred from Fire Haven, Furcorn can be bred from Light Island, and Oaktopus can come from Psychic Island. It is recommended to use Shugabush Island for the Oaktopus as well, since Shugabush + Oaktopus can produce a Viveine, which is a required egg for the Celestial. This covers all of the Monsters from Cold Island that adult Loodvigg needs. It is also worth noting that several promotions available in August for Adult Scaratar can be used to prebreed Flex Eggs to use in September. The Faerie Tales promotion can be used to breed Rare HippityHops, Rare Wimmzies, and Rare Knuckleheads, any of which can be bred and later used to fill the Faerie Flex Egg (as well as Rare Knucklehead being used for the Light Flex Egg). Additionally, during the Mind Blown promotion at the end of MindBoggle, all Rares on Psychic Island can be bred, so Rare Bonkers or Rare Yugglers can be bred and later used to fill the Psychic Flex Egg.

All of the Seasonals required are harder to obtain, but since adult Loodvigg is only available during Anniversary Month, they can be obtained throughout the whole month.

The Rares are a tough case, as there is no concrete telling as to when a Rare Monster could be available. And unlike Rare Wublins, the Rares are presumably lost after the timer ends. The event "Island Spotlight" will likely occur every September, so for candidates for the Flex Eggs, consider all of Magical Double-Elements. The event "Grand Finale" also features every limited-time Monster, which would be a good opportunity to breed the Seasonals and the Flex Eggs, but it is very probable it only happens 35 days after the start of Anniversary Month, while Loodvigg only has a 30-day timer.

It is very important to keep in mind that Double-Element Rare Magicals bred on Magical Sanctum can fill either of two Flex Eggs. The player is unable to select which Flex Egg one of these eggs will fill, so be cautious about what order you zap them in. They will first prioritize the Psychic Flex Egg, then Bone, then Light, and lastly Faerie. For example, Rare Xyster, if zapped, will prioritize filling the Psychic Flex Egg before the Bone Flex Egg. If you wish to use Rare Xyster's egg to fulfill the Bone Flex Egg, zap it last. Similarly, Rare Knucklehead, if zapped, will prioritize filling the Light Flex Egg before the Faerie Flex Egg. If you wish to use Rare Knucklehead's egg to fulfill the Faerie Flex Egg, zap it last. Having Mirror Magical Islands lets you breed for Rare Magical Flex eggs on three Islands instead of two, making them especially useful, but not required.

- Monster Handler Matt claimed in the MSM Live of August 2023 that this was to make room for them to focus on the Anniversary Month content for 2023.
All of the Seasonal Monsters required by adult Loodvigg represent Seasonal Events that take place during a month with another Seasonal Event.
