Oogiddy is the best example of a monster that is not at all what your expecting, but in a really really good way. I was never a fan of all the Poison Quad predictions that were just bug, Dronesect, electric guitar, or generic string. I don't know how they came up with something this weird, and somehow make it work extremely well. I'd love to say a lot more, but it's really hard to describe what makes Oogiddy feel so special to me. I'm curious to see how Poison Islet is executed, because while its not as major of a contrast as Jeeode and Rhysmuth, Humbug & Oogiddy still give off different vibes.

I appreciate that the Humbug sale they put out today is the same image as last year with the Oogiddy teaser, as a way to acknowledge the anniversary.

Oh my God I almost missed it! My wonderful baby's birthday!! Though you may be wondering just WHY I love it so much... well...

For a start, have you SEEN him?? In comparison to him, X'rt looks clean! Buddy is bouncing around in a pool of his own, constantly-leaking spit, the entire back of his body is a mouth, and I can't even describe the OTHER mouth! One of the most disgusting Monster designs in the game!

And alongside all that he's ADORABLE!!! He looks so happy, like a little kid playing in the rain. No wonder he has giddy in his name! His little slaps and claps are so energetic and playful, he's having so much fun contributing to the song!

Speaking of which, I understand. It's a little weird that 3/5 Ethereal Quads are percussionists. I get it. But NONE of them are replacable! Oogiddy's cymbals and slimy splats give the song a big oomf, especially in the transitions. Go to Workshop, mute your Oogiddy, and you will FEEL how much more deflated the song sounds. Also he is vital in the first Whaill verse, which just so happens to be my favorite Workshop verse hee hee

A lot of things were stacked against Oogiddy when it came out. The anticipation for the Ethereal Quint (which many gave up on after Oogiddy relased for some reason??), the many Poison Quad predictions before it racking up expectations, and the fact that it was the last Quad and the second to last Workshop Monster overall. I understand that too.

Listen, I know Oogiddy doesn't give everyone the warm fuzzies... BUT HE DOES TO ME, ALRIGHT? He's my special little boi, and I patiently await his return on Poison islet. Happy birthday, son.

I will now list every difference between the G'joob and Yawstrich verse extensions of the Continent

G'joob verse

Before G'joob was added:

1. Floogull played for the entire verse

2. Sneyser did not play whatsoever

After G'joob and every subsequent Monster was added:

1. The verse doubled in length

2. G'joob now plays in the second half

3. Sneyser now plays in the second half

4. Floogull plays for the entire first half and the end of the second half

5. Every other Monster just repeats their part

Yawstrich verse

Before Yawstrich was added:

1. Tuskski played for the entire verse

2. Sneyser only played its 3rd track (according to the Wiki)

After Yawstrich was added:

1. The verse doubled in length

2. Tuskski plays for the entire first half and the end of the second half

3. Sneyser alternates between its 3rd and 4th tracks

4. Strombonin plays in the first half

5. Yawstrich plays in the second half

6. Buzzinga plays in the second half

7. Hyehehe plays in the second half

8. Every other Monster just repeats their part

Also, before the extensions, in the last verse, Sneyser played its 3rd track twice, then its 4th track twice (according to the Wiki). Now, Sneyser alternates between its 3rd and 4th tracks.

Honestly, I thought there would be more changes

9.2/10 monster placement is weird, but progress is a big W

6/10 outside of Islets, I don't really like the mirror islands

It is actually suddenly absent on this island, and I have no idea, why would they delete that from Mirror Water Island.

While I'm writing this, Deconstructor is still on Mirror Earth Island.

10th: Water Island

There's no way it is better than Party Island. 4 boring notes which disappoints me a lot. I mean on the bright side it's not like terrible bad it's more on average good it's still makes a good bass sound plus there's many monsters on water Island worst than quibble.

9th: Shugabush Island

From this ranking onwards is where quibble sound's so good, but it is kinda repetitive. Other than that I do enjoy the chords.

8th: Fire Oasis

Groovy but Mammott and maybe Sneyser is better. At least why can't quibble have right hand rhythm.

7th: Cold Island

Not bad rhythm but I think Mammott is better once again and I am sorry if I put Cold Island this low. I find the rest better.

6th: Cave Island: Makes a good impact and the duet with riff is crazy but believe or not it is a little hard to hear the second track and well why can't there be chords??

5th: Party Island

You guys seriously want to against quibble in this island who is the GOAT on MSM?? I get the first track is boring like water Island but there's chords at least which makes it better. Plus the third track is fire and vibing and gives 'party' feeling.

4th: Tribal Island

Not much opinion, but I like the sound and it is catchy too.

3rd: The Continent

Sounds like a piano concerto. It may be quiet but I like it a lot and I even enjoy sight reading it (obviously the notes are hard but I still love that rhythm).

2nd: Air Island

It carries Air Island I like it so much until I have no other words to say. I wanted to put 1st but I think the No 1 spot is better

1st: Gold Island

This is the best in Gold Island and also the best Quibble ever. The Canon in D especially sounds great the second track is calming while 3rd track. Ok the 3rd track is a little low energy but the suspense though is incredible.

You may have already known this, but pentumbra has little horns next to it's eyes

It just makes him cuter IMO 😭😭
