They seem to possess Cruv’Laapht’s many vibrant tendrils, along with what remains of some of the surroundings regarding Space Island. That’s how the Crocus came up with this Epic Dreamythical! Unlike most Epic Mythicals and Dreamythicals, this thing was crafted by a powerful Titansoul with such willpower that can change worlds.
It’s no longer playing pranks or making fun, it’s more like summoning the willing critters to come play its song for them. No trace of stolen Space Fungus or Hayloo Trees, not Snayle-Wells, not even the Spores from Afar, nor the Astral Abode. The Epic Wheezel is just pure
Psychics and Space.”

Ngl when mythical island was first releasing I was expecting the song to be far more... dreamlike, I guess? And I REALLY wish it went that direction because I am really not a fan of the final song if I'm being totally honest
When I first placed cataliszt, because there were no other monsters yet it only played one very small portion of its full track. And that small portion is absolutely beautiful, imo a perfect vibe for an island about dreams and still my favorite single noise that a monster makes in that whole song. But the more monsters you add, the less and less dream-like it feels, and in the end it sounds nothing at all like the vibes that the first cataliszt set.
That would all be fine if the final song was actually really good, but I don't think I can pinpoint exactly what vibes the final song is supposed to have either. It doesn't feel dream-like, but it doesn't really feel mythical either. (Looking purely at the dreamythicals here since the mythicals had to be the way they are:) Bleatnik is like a weird goat bleat, cranchee is a harsh distorted voice, wheezel is a sub bass synth noise, I mean what exactly were they going for? I think this works if they're going for "weird" as the vibe, but that doesn't at all seem to fit for a "mythical" island with a dark round moon/dream-like design
I don't know, I just think about the initial "oooooooooo"s I felt when I first started the island, and it's sad that it ultimately became one of my least favorites

1. When I was younger, I was scared of the Epic Tweedle and Entbrat.
2. I used to truly believe that Kayna was written and pronounced Kanya for several months.
3. At the same time, I kept forgetting the words for Cold and Earth and had to replace them with ice and rock to remember them, and ended up making my brain default to those until I worked with them long enough.
4. I used to hate Attmoz for some reason? I had no reason to so... what?? Same thing with Plixie but milder. It shows a little through my profile page's edit history.
5. On the same trail, I really, really despise the MSM Vhamps, like, at an unhinged level, and all of the reasons are honestly stupid. Ironically, I adore and love the DoF one at an almost equal level.
6. I respond with genuine fear and shivers when looking at Wheezel.
I am so weird.

This is the finalized design and bio for my Epic Wheezel design
I tried out using limited shading and almost no highlights for this.

Completely removed the green because it clashed with the purple a bit too much in my opinion. I’m satisfied enough with these colors to start to figure out how I’m going to do shading.

Also, I tried out a more sketchy/hand drawn style because I suck at mimicking the official MSM style. If this style is well received enough, I’ll make it my default style.

Based on what we've learned from this years Spooktacle & Feast-Ember, its safe to assume that Epic Mythicals, Young Mythicals & Rare Dreamythicals are all coming during their respective seasonal events. So Its likely we will be seeing Rare Wheezel sometime in SummerSong 2025. After 2025 That leaves just the Epic Dreamythicals, in which we don't know when they'll be coming out.
Then I remember 2026 is a special year, because that year April Fools Day will fall on a Wednesday for the first time since 2020. Based on what I assume will be already released by then, I think the perfect monster for April Fools has to be Epic Wheezel (I'll talk about Rare/Epic Mimic later).
Epic X'rt came from my timeline theory. The pattern I came up with lead Epic X'rt to releasing on this day, which I thought was so funny, and now I think its even better. This is a stretch, but pointing out stretches will eventually lead to predicting intentions. The first time in the games history that April Fools fell on a Wednesday was in 2015, where we got 0 new monsters. The second time was in 2020, where we got 1 new monster (Parlsona on Water Island). So on the third time in 2026, we will get 2 new monsters (Epic X'rt & Epic Wheezel on there respective islands).
Finally, lets talk about the Mimic variants, the other good candidates for an April Fools release. There are 2 ways I think it can go, and neither of them are in April. First is going by Fire Expansion rules and having the Mimic variants release in May and November respectively. Second is having Epic Mimic release in Perplexplore (2025 or 2026), and Rare Mimic releasing in Early January 2025. Why? Some may know that the feathers on Mimic concept art were reused for Rare Clamble, and Rare Clamble was initially released on January 2nd, 2015, so Rare Mimic will release almost exactly 10 years after Rare Clamble.
I was expect this to be a short post, but I always underestimate how much I have to say about an MSM related topic.
Like, Hyehehe and Wheezle are obvious, but what about others? Personally, I'd like to think of Kayna as this little gremlin that causes chaos wherever she goes.
