If i only have the 5 common monsters and i link all of them the titansoul wakes up right?? and then it just makes what those monsters make in coins like added together instead of the monsters making coins on their own?? like if i dont have any rares or epics i can still wake it up or???

The 126 days theory for islets is dead, and the MH's know very well how badly we fell for it. In yesterday's 5.1 Update Showcase, they teased us about it, BUT they also hinted that it would be coming before the end of the year. So it’s either coming in November or December, in other words Feast-Ember or Festival Of Yay. The only reason for an F-E release can think of is based on the monsters I theorized would be coming during that event. But a FoY release actually has a lot more going for it than I realized.

Let's just get the obvious connection out of the way. Shadow Islet will house the Cold Primordial, and Yay is Cold Island's seasonal event. But here's where things get interesting.

I'm sure you've heard of a movie called "The Nightmare Before Christmas". It's both a Halloween flick, and a Christmas flick, similar to the idea of a spooky themed island releasing at Christmas time. It also (in my opinion) links back to Pentumbra. Let's go back to April 2024. I don't believe this was an intentional reference, but I think they could make it feel more intentional with the release of Shadow Islet. The Mech Islet trailer was based on The Shawshank Redemption, they could continue this trend of movie parodies with Shadow Islet.

So now we gotta find out which day in particular it happens on. Well guess what day is on a Wednesday this year? December 24th; Christmas Eve. Shadow Islet IS the nightmare before Christmas. And you know what's one more fun connection? The Nightmare Before Christmas released on the same day that would've seen the release of Shadow Islet had the 126 theory been correct (and also the day they teased when it'll be actually coming), 32 years ago. (Wow, this movie is way older than I realized).

I was originally gonna make one post about the release dates of every remaining islet, but then I realized I don't quite have much to say about Crystal or Poison yet, so I'll save them for another day.

One last point, I've seen some people think we're gonna be getting the Faerie Island TitanSoul in December. This mainly stems from the fact that it's seven months after the Crocus released, which is the same month gap from Phlox to Crocus. This same sentiment was shared with the Paironormal singles disproven by Arcorina, and the same thing happened literally yesterday with the islets disproven by Shadow Islet. Surely one day, we're gonna learn our lesson.

This might be a hot take, but I'm not opposed to the idea of only getting one TitanSoul per year. As the MH's said, TitanSouls are Wubbox-level events. And I know last November we got three new Wubboxes in one day, but I feel like TitanSoul are WAY more impactful that Wubboxes song-wise, and in visuals. They absolutely deserve a long time in-between. It's the same thing with Epic Wublins. They are some of, if not the most creative and detailed variants in the game, getting them bi-monthly instead of just monthly is absolutely warranted.

To be clear, I don't actually have an idea as to when Faesodd's TitanSoul will actually release, I just presume it won't be this year. On the topic of things happening or not happening this year, they also hinted that the next Paironormal Hybrid will release before the end of the year. Will it be November? Will it be December? Will it be both? I don't know. But I will say, the way they worded it kinda made it seem like they are releasing one at a time after all. I guess that makes sense, cause it is technically two monsters (Assuming the Major & Minor release at the same time, which I don't think'll happen, but who knows).

In other news, I got Epic Bleat just in the Nik of time. And I named it accordingly.

I woke up last night and, instead of going to sleep, I decided that this was a better use of my time. I started with each island’s aesthetic and worked backwards from there, along with my predictions of the Titans’ eyes. Faesoddian Fern includes the fake eye motifs from Faesodd’s feathers, while Necrullian I Don’t Know features skeletal hands and Uuduk’s puzzle-like bone connections, as well as the spines that form plants in the background of the Island.

We got the Paironormals, and then after the Ethereal elements we get Electricity, and since the Titansoul monsters act like Wubbox, it may be possible for the Titansoul element to be the magical equivalent of Electricity.

The theme of Titansouls is flowers.

Bone Island's Titan is named Necrus.

The flower starts with the same letter as the Titan.
