The Continent

There are several monsters that I really love, but krillby is the one I never hear anyone talk about. I don't feel any particular way about its design, but I really love its simple yet effective recorder noise. I really love its sound on every single island it appears on in both msm and dof, which is quite a few when you add them up. Having a great sound on 5 islands out of 5 is quite a high batting average!

In particular, I LOOOOVE krillby on continent and amber island. It is one of the best sounds on continent in my personal opinion, which is really saying something given how many monsters are on it

Young Cherubble on the The Continent is the first May 7th release in the history of the franchise. I really thought Rare Mimic would be taking this title.

Along with the strikethrough, I also highlighted all the remaining dates that fall on a Wednesday this year.

Anyways, I’ve got a much longer post lined up for hopefully later today, so I’m not gonna ramble for too long.

Bbb has stated that Wubbox is the hex (Please don’t flame me for saying that). Since Wubbox didn’t exist during DoF, that means that a hex technically couldn’t exist there. But what if there was an alternative? A monster that behaved like a hex element but isn’t actually a hex? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you…

The Primordial Electricity/Fire element. (I couldn’t decide what to call it)

According to lore, the Electricity element is both the equivalent to the Fire element AND is formed by combining the six Natural and Fire elements. Since the Electricity element is, again, equivalent to the Fire element, this makes it almost like a “fire ethereal” (except not really), and all of the ethereal islets of course have a primordial of whatever Natural element the islet’s ethereals correspond to.

Also, by definition, Amber Island is technically a Fire Islet. Like the ethereal islets, all monsters on the islands/islets have their respective ethereal element with one exception. This doesn’t really mean anything, just thought it was worth mentioning as it helped my theory a little bit.

Also, Galvana’s in DoF. The ethereals were at some point considered to be added to DoF (and might come eventually), so that leaves Galvana the only monster whose element wouldn’t have been represented. So it being an Electricity Primordial would remedy that.

Anyways, the Continent needs a satisfying conclusion, not just ending with the Mythicals (which are welcome additions, but wouldn’t be a good fit for an island’s finale) or being dragged on with more and more random monsters. This Electricity/Fire would be the perfect way to do this while still sticking to the whole “Wubbox is the Hex” thing.

Here are some things I’m hoping for:

1. Seasonals/Mythicals on the outer islands. This one just HAS to happen eventually, and the 10th anniversary seems like the perfect time.

2. Ethereal continent equivalent. Young Ethereals getting their own island would be nice to make sure the continent doesn’t get more crowded.

3. And finally, the true, not artificial, 100% natural Hex. Call me delusional, but I think the 10th anniversary seems like the best time for it.

But those are just my ideas, tell me yours in the replies!

I have a theory that means that classes have the monster with all elements in the class and a monster, that has all elements in class too, but has all of them in one element.

I think, that Naturals and Ethereals are connected, because we can get ethereals on Natural islands, which is why wubbox can have both natural elements and ethereal elements. That's why I think, Hex WILL come.

Also, Enchantling is monster with all magical elements, which, I think, means that there's can be something like a wubbox, but with magical elements and Supermagical class.

Young Hyehehe is out. Its alright. My takeaway from this release is not the sound, it's the realization of the true pattern of Young Mythicals. It's not respective seasonal events, it's simply every other month.

September: Young G'joob + Young Yawstritch

May and July are just speculation, but of the two options, the one I put makes the most sense. The Fire Mythicals are the only ones to release in their respective seasonal events, and Young Anglow being the last one is fitting because it was the first Mythical to be confirmed to be around during the Dawn Of Fire.

My theory is that since Young Buzzinga released on the first day of Feast-Ember, that'll be the same with Young Cherubble. Depending on when Perplexplore begins this year Young Cherubble will release on either May 14th, or May 21st. Something I noticed about Young Strombonin & Young Hyehehe is that they both released in-between seasonal events. The only Wednesday in July without one is July 9th, so I predicted that's when Young Anglow will release.

So for a more detailed timeline:

September 4th, 2024 - Young G'joob + Young Yawstritch

November 13th, 2024 - Young Buzzinga

January 15th, 2025 - Young Strombonin

March 5th, 2025 - Young Hyehehe

May 14th OR May 21st, 2025 - Young Cherubble

July 9th, 2025 - Young Anglow

One last thing.

My WVTP had an error where Rare Yooreek was labeled as 2025 instead of 2026. That has now been fixed. Dang, we are getting so close. I feel really good about this one. I know I said that about v4, but this one just hits different.
