Name: The Secret Brotherhood
There is a hidden secret society of Epic Yelmuts, known simply as "The Brotherhood", that have existed in the monster world ever since the reintroduction of the Yelmut race. Their beliefs are no different from the average Epic Yelmut, but what sets them apart is their mission, which is to try to convert the rest of the monster world to their religion. They have 3 known temples: Their main temple on Amber Island, one on Light Island, and one on Mirror Light Island, all of which are well-concealed. Their temple on Amber Island is the most successful one, being the most well-kept and having the most followers, Yelmuts or otherwise. This is most likely due to the organization appealing to and accepting most of the residents of the island. The society having a temple on Light Island is a little ironic, due to their beliefs only supporting a minority of monsters on the island, being natural and fire monsters. While there are other classes of monsters they don't like, such as Wublins, Paironormals, or Seasonals, due to being considered "unnatural" by them, the one they dislike most of all are Magical monsters, due to having contrasting theological beliefs, with The Brotherhood's religion, "Colossalism" worshipping the Colossals and Celestials, while the Magical monsters' religion, "Titanism" worshipping the Stair Shaper and Titans. To maintain a good public image and not get shut down, however, they do not engage in violent acts against any of these groups. Colossalism is similar to existing Monster World myth, but with a lot more worshipping, delusions, and supremacy. The temples serve as places of worship, with the Epic Yelmuts serving as the leaders of them. This society, and religion they worship, is often shunned for being discriminatory and delusional, and has very few non Epic Yelmut members because of that, with the ones who are in keeping it a secret. They used to perform sacrifices daily, but now only perform it weekly, due to critters being hard to catch. They also fast, although most members can't last a full day without eating, with only the strongest of members being able to complete it. They usually have initiation ceremonies for new members, but since new members are rare, the supplies collect dust most months. Besides all this, little else is known about The Brotherhood, as they're usually really hidden, and all of the stuff we do know is from reclusive former members. Who knows what they're currently up to?
