This is purely off of sound, specifically on Shanty. The placements of them don't reflect my opinions on them in general all the time.

15. Spurrit. I don't hate Spurrit that much, but its Shanty sound isn't really the best. It does what it needs to, but it's still the worst on Shanty.

14. Blabbit. It works, I'm just not too big a fan of how it sounds here.

13. Whiz-Bang. It's not bad at all-it's just most others are better.

12. Viveine. Just a bit boring, even with that sneeze. Still good, though.

11. Hoola. I actually don't hate Shanty Hoola. So what if she wants to be a Pokémon? It works. It sounds good.

10. Gobbleygourd. I like how Gobbleygourd sounds here, but not enough to get it higher than the others, sadly. Main reason it's here is because of the track where it stops from the extended notes to go back to how it sounds on the Fire Islands. I quite like that track.

9. Clavavera. It sounds great, but the other remaining 8 are better. Don't really have much to say for it.

8. Boo'qwurm. The main reason this list is sound-only. I hate the design, but it sounds really good. Great addition to the song.

7. Jam Boree. I love Jam Boree's sound. It gives off the same vibe I get from Shanty Schmoochle (though I'm writing this after Schmoochle's so I won't go into it here).

6. Punkleton. I love Punkleton, its my third favorite Seasonal, and Shanty really does do it justice. You ask me to think of a Punkleton sound, and Shanty's the first I think of.

5. Yool. Don't really have much to say about this one, just that I like how it sounds.

4. Schmoochle. If you asked me to name one Monsters who's sound represents Shanty as a whole, I'd choose Schmoochle. I LOVE how they sound here (yes, I realize that's a pun). They sound a bit sad, but also really happy. Like they just came out of some really sad, emotional moment, and are just now starting to recover from it.

3. Carillong. Sounds amazing, and honestly kinda ethereal (not the class).

2. Monculus. Amazing design aside, i love the sound. It's completely unique, and it does what it wants super well. It gives off that vibe I like about Monculus- its weird. It's different. It's even a bit creepy.

1. Ffidyll. Even with the bias of it being my favorite Monster aside, it's still amazing. It sounds awesome, and the verse it introduced is amazing, too.

Around 2 years ago, I was hanging out with my friends, and one of them told me about this weird game he found on tiktok. I don't exactly remember why, but I downloaded it on the spot! And what greeted me when I opened it for the very first time?

The next few months I played the game a lot, even after my friends forgot about it. I soon started watching videos of full songs, I don't even know if I was even aware of the lore yet! I distinctly remember when Bowhead released, as that was the time I understood that the game is getting consistently updated!

However, as a new player, I didn't have the most... refined opinions. I mostly went along with whatever most of the fanbase liked or disliked. I think most of you know where this is going now...

I HATED THIS THING. I utterly despised it. I didn't even dare say its forsaken, mouthful of a name. I would always say The Turkey whenever I had to refer to it. I hated its sound. I roughly remember my thoughts...

"Fire Haven is AMAZING, and this bird DARES ruin it with its godawful voice. And WHYYY did they give IT 3 islands?! What possessed them to do that?? What islands is it even on? What even is Seasonal Shanty?"

I didn't really like Seasonal Shanty the first time I heard it. Didn't hate it at all, but I found some monsters annoying. However, I still went to check the comments. Most of them were talking about Boo'qwurm, but some of them were praising the song itself. "Give it a chance" they said. And I don't know why, but... I did.

"Hey, Gobbleygourd doesn't sound that bad on here..."

I love Seasonal Shanty

It has taken me a while, but I think I finally have a bearing on which songs I like more than others... yeah I know what an achievement

All of the tiers ARE ordered except A, I honestly have no idea which islands I like more than others in that tier

I feel like Seasonal Shanty struggled with its instrumentals. Most of the seasonals in the beginning were vocal monsters (if you count Blabbit and tool), so they made the castle bass more bigger to help the song. I do feel like because of this, they had to make the rest of the seasonals instrumentals for the same of the song. Seasonal Shanty kind of feels a bit of a messy song with all the seasonals since they were made for specific islands. I can't really think of anything else but I'd rate the island a solid 6/10.
