My first idea for this was Vhenshun accidentally cutting a meeb in half and it shockingly being just fine lol
I made this in preparation for Ethereal Gold.
What monster are you teleporting to Ethereal Gold first?
Oh how time flies. My precious little Piplash and its head-canon father figure Vhenshun turned one year old today.
This wave is what truly sparked my obsession. Wave One was lovely, it had my heart, but not much of it, Wave Two was where it started to grow, but Wave Three struck my heart, and a year later, it’s still striking.
Piplash gave us the guitar we all wanted in the most creative and adorable way possible. I’ll defend Piplash with my life. My favorite monster on the Workshop, and my 3rd favorite monster overall.
Vhenshun was the real MVP of this wave sound wise. It put the Workshop in Ethereal Workshop. My favorite part has to be that whistle. I have an odd fascination for train whistle in music, and Vhenshun was the Cataliszt for that.Tracks #1’s whistle is very minor, but track #2’s whistle is so satisfying for some reason.

Since Piplash and Vhenshun are almost a year old, I made art for the both of them since they are almost a year old.
In the past few weeks, I've been feeing like a parent who's child is all grown up and is ready to move out of the house. My love for Ethereal Workshop is what made me scared of the idea of those monsters going somewhere new this early. I may have also been influenced by my Workshop VTP's. So is WVTP v5 officially dead to me? Yes. Do I still think Rare Workshop is starting in early 2025? Yes. Am I currently in the process of creating v6? Yes. I don't have school today due to inclement weather, and I don't have school tomorrow regardless of the weather, so that'll be released very soon.
Although, I am still a bit perplexed by the choice to make the first teaser take place on Mirror Plant Island. So maybe along with Ethereal Union, we also get Mirror Ethereal Islands. Design wise, if we ever do get them, I think it would be cool if Mirror Zarroë was inside out. Mirror Ethereal Island looks like Ethereal Workshop, and vise versa. But I won't get my hopes up about it coming this month.
I can't wait to see my precious precious Piplash get some more well deserved love (And the other ones, but mostly Pips).
Ok that's about it.
