Perplexplore

When they revealed the process of Gobbleygourdification in the Perplexplore trailer, they said they'd update some bios to match. I couldn't find any changes for Mimic, Gobbleygourd, and its Rare and Epic variants. Did they update any bios at all?

Also, Cruv'laaptian Crocus' bio mentions streaking meteor showers in its performance, but we never see these. When I first saw that, I wondered if that would be the equivalent to Phlox's aurora in the sky.. yet we never got that.

It makes me wonder if that was a scrapped sound for Crocus that was later tossed aside for the eye critters, which sound noticeably out of place from the other two sounds.

I mean I get why. Maybe it just me, but the last two SS pairs have felt much more random than the others.

And also probably because we’re all distracted my the Psychic TitanSoul. It truly makes the island feel like a final boss fight. I underestimated the power of this class and understand why they take so long to release.

First of all, I predicted the name being “cruvlahptan crocus”!

Also I really did NOT think the psychic brain island would have the most brawn titansoul, and ALSO IT TURNED INTO A ROCK SONG WHAT I LOVE THAT SO MUCH!?!?!?

Uh another thing, I love the new costumes! Perplexplore is still one of my favorite events!

Epic cherubble looks like PEAK. I absolutely adore the crazy lil blubberflies :D

Rare mimic at first seems like a bland design but I love it

And also GOBBLEYGOURD IS MIMIC HOLY COW I CANNOT BELIVE THIS

Rare shLep is ALSO really nice, I honestly completely forgot about shLep as a monster for SO LONG

Ok, first off, this Wynq’s costume is my least favorite, but it’s still really good.

It just looks a bit awkward, but it’s still not bad.

Next, we have the Whaddle costume which looks REALLY good in my opinion.

I just love the diving bell aesthetic.

Next, my favorite one of all, the Glowl costume. I just love the pilot aesthetic so much.

The map dress is such a creative idea and they pulled it off in well in my opinion.

Final predictions?

Psychic Titansoul will hit the eyeball critters into eachother using the tentacles on the island for the foliage sounds, making a pad sound similar to ghazt but calmer, the background sounds will be a meteor shower making a falling sound effect, changing to books falling for the mindboggle skin and debris from space island on the mirror island, and then in front of the island will be a comet passing in front of the island making a whooosh sound, this will change into the skyship when the mindboggle skin is on, and on the mirror map it will be a piece of debris from space island.

Based on this thing, matching the color scheme of fire oasis. Eyes won't be very visible, but the eyestalks will replace them

Idk about this but it would be cool and it would make sense, they would make an exception for mimic to be placeable from fire oasis, instead of going to seasonal shanty? *ahem, GreenyBeanie4, ahem*

I think we will start seeing more rare sanctum/impure duos, like with pilinkajou and mushaboom. Next week I think we will get rare persicorp and rare deja-jin. Rare periscorp will be slimy, and alien themed and rare deja jin will resemble a different monkey species, maybe a chimpanzee, and the red crystals will become gold and tribal jewelry

That's the first Titansoul of the list, 2 more to go! With this release schedule, they're going to release in January and September 2026 respectively.

But you have to agree that this is a pretty weird Seasonal Event to release a Titansoul in, huh? Perplexplore stay winning, I guess.

Also, Rare shLep hasn't been teased weirdly enough. They might just pull a Rare Sporerow on us though.

And the last thing of note, the final Rare Natural released! Welcome, Rare Mimic!

So were all expecting any combination of Mirror Fire Islands, new TitanSoul, Rare Mimic, Rare shLep, Epic Cherubble, & new Rare Magical(s) tomorrow right? Sooooooo what is this new "tradition" that the sun is rising on tomorrow?

I'd like to point out that so far, other than Anniversary Month, Perplexplore is the only seasonal event to never get a Monster-Handler Short. There is always something big going on at the time. Perhaps that's the tradition, and there's nothing too deep about it. But this tradition is being labeled as "new" now, even though it would've be new last year if the answer was a simple as that. So what's something that happened in last years Perplexplore that could reoccur tomorrow? I think there's only one answer to think question...

I believe along with the release of Rare Mimic, Mimic will also be going to a new island. Now the question is which island.

This person says Gold Island is associated with the sun rising, but I can't find any proof of this claim. However, it's the most obvious place for Mimic to go to. Gold Island is basically the Natural Nexus island, and Mimic is THE Natural monster.

So that's the tradition. Mimic goes to a new island every Perplexplore until it has made it to every island. Ok that last part is a joke, but we know that Mimic journey won't be stopping after Gold.

"It was also noted that Mimic's incubation time matches that of the Fire Quints, since it is attempting to blend in with them. Matt also suggested that this won't be the only incubation time Mimic will have, also implying that the island that Mimic could appear on requires Monsters to be incubated."

Mimic's future endeavors will occur on islands with incubation, which Gold does not have. I think it would be weird if Mimics current status as passing off as a Fire monster is a permanent thing. So what if Mimic passes off as a different class for each island?

Here's the interesting thing. Most people think Mimic would be placable to Gold Island from Fire Oasis, but I don't think that'll be the case. Not because no other Naturals can be sent to Gold on the Fire Islands, but because on Fire Oasis, Mimic is passing off as a Fire monster, and Fire monsters aren't on Gold Island. So I believe Mimic can only go to Gold Island when it is passing off as a class that can go to Gold. So so so I predict that Mimic next island along with Gold Island will be...

Seasonal Shanty!

Jam Boree is neither a Aux. nor Core Seasonal, but it's the only monster that can go to Gold from Shanty. If Mimic is passing off as a Seasonal, it probably wouldn't be Aux. nor Core as well. On Fire Oasis, Mimic despite being a false Fire only mimics Seasonals, so Mimics next island with incubation is continuing the chain. Now that I think about it, Seasonal Events are kinda like traditions, so Mimic being a Pseudo Seasonal could make its availability like its own little seasonal tradition.

So many people in YouTube comments are predicting the next Ethereal Islet is coming tomorrow. Next month is literally one often associated with Ethereals and you think, and you think the next Ethereal Islet is gonna come right before that? Even if the 18 week theory is wrong, there's no way were not getting the next one in June.

First time doing predictions, kinda nervous... 😓

Alright, so first of all, it's pretty much guaranteed that Rare Mimic and Epic Cherubble will come tomorrow. I feel like based on the orange hairpiece in the 4.8 teaser, Rare Mimic may have a warm color palette to contrast the Common's green and blue

As for Epic Cherubble, I have an Idea for how such an immobile Monster can have unique animations: perhaps a new sleeping position? I mean, it's not like there's much else they could do

Oh yeah, Rare shLep releases a week after, just like Rare Cranchee and Pinghound before it

As for Rare Magicals, well, Adult Syncopite requires a fire 3 element flex egg, which leaves us with one option: We might finally get Rareiscorp!

As for Rare Peckidna for the Bone 2 Element Flex Egg? Maybe, but it's possible that Rare Roarick, while releasing early, mightve already fufilled this role for the year

OK, now for the big stuff.

At first, I wasn't entirely convinced that Perplexplore would have a major update considering it's right in between Epic Wublins and a new Ethereal Islet, but then the trailer promo dropped.

Clearly this is big enough to warrant a trailer for. However, I don't think the highlighted "tradition" is specifically related to any new content specifically, it's the same color as this highlighted "Perplexplore".

I've seen people consider 2 big additions for this update: Mirror Fire Islands, and/or Psychic Titansoul.

As far as I know, there hasn't been any recent teaser for the Mirror Fire Islands, but I could see them coming for this update. Would be really useful for the recently introduced Epic Wublins (Which I have basically no predictions for, other then them releasing near the end of each month)

What about the Psychic Titansoul? There actually have been what appear to be teasers for it on the DOMA website.

Glowing purple Crocus flowers? Sounds like its name might be Cruv'laaphtian Crocus! Having a new Titansoul release in between the huge updates we got/will get doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Though, I'm not completely betting on getting both of these within the same update however, that feels a little too large for anything that isn't Anniversary Month.

Lastly, Mimic on Gold Island? It be a great opportunity to do this on Mimic's Island's Seasonal Event.

Since there are two days until Perplexplore starts, here are my predictions:

Epic Cherubble & Rare shLep (Obviously): Isn't it obvious? Epic Mythicals and Rare Dreamythicals always release at their rightful events from their associated islands, so these two would release soon.

Rare Mimic (Guaranteed): It's obvious how Mimic is currently the only Quint and Natural Monster to not have a Rare Variant yet, so it makes sense that he would get a rare during Perplexplore since he is on Fire Oasis after all.

Mirror Fire Islands (Obviously): So, everybody is talking about Fire Islands getting their own Mirror Variants, so it makes sense that these Mirror Versions could be here on Perplexplore and they would both cost 600 Diamonds since there is currently no Mirror Island that has 600 Diamonds (Think of Mirror Earth Island having 500 Diamonds and Mirror Light Island having 700 Diamonds). And it would be obvious that both Mirror Fire Islands would connect with Electricity (Electricity is the Mirror Counterpart to Fire after all)

New Perplexplore Costumes (Guaranteed): Obvious reasons. lol

Perplexplore Seasonal Snacks (Also Guaranteed): Same as the New Perplexplore Costumes.

A new Rare Magical (Possibly): Since Periscorp is the only Magical Triple with a Fire Element that doesn't have a Rare Variant yet, I hope he would get a Rare. After all, Periscorp is one of my favorite Magicals.

And finally, the Psychic Titansoul (For real this time) (Obviously): 5 months ago, we all thought that Hairionette was the Psychic Titansoul, but instead, it's a Paironormal, which is fine. We haven't even get a single Titansoul Monster for 7 Months, so hopefully, we would get Cruv'Laapht's Titansoul for real this time. (Maybe I did get my hopes too high on the Titansouls, but still)
