So the loading screens for this month went from Ethereal Island to Ethereal Workshop to... Mythical Island? Which doesn't really make sense, as Month of the Mythical ended two years ago, and almost everything happening this month is Ethereal-related (Life-Formula and Mech Islet)

Monster-Handler David has said that something unexpected will be announced on the 21st. Maybe it's Mythical-related? Or maybe i'm just nuts lol.

From a fat walrus that plays the oboe and a yodeling ostrich to an entire group of 8 monsters, I will be ranking each and every one. The Mythicals aren’t really the most interesting class in my opinion, but they’re cool anyways.

1 - Hyehehe

Anyways, Hyehehe is a great monster made by the GOAT himself Quinn (I’ve known his channel since the apocalyptics (withering woods) ). The organs and the laugh perfectly fit the jester vibe! It’s great on earth island, and the small organ noises are pretty fun to vibe to. It’s also great on Mythicals, but I wish it didn’t play in the end verse.. makes it less… im sorry to say this… Mythical (I’m sorry Quinn 😭). It’s pretty adorable on continent, just a lil goober. I think it’s a fun and great monster.

2 - G’joob

I joke about this thing being fat, but do I hate it? No! It’s great! It’s a great additional monster to Plant island, and is very mandatory in Mythical Island’s song. I also like its idle animation for some reason, with the flippers waving back and forth. Idk, I think it’s just me.

3 - Buzzinga

Buzzinga is amazing! The top 3 Mythicals are awesome imo! Buzzinga is great on fire haven AND mythical island. The only flaw is.. the pauses, Theyre kinda off. It pauses then plays then pauses then plays in its tracks (not its idle, it doesn’t count). Everything else, the design, the contribution, the execution, the instrument, are pros. Continent is decent though.

4 - Anglow

I like its abyss-like vibe! It’s deep and buzzy noises are great! I like it on both islands! Both water and mythical are good in their own way, with the former being more synth-y and being additional to the beginning and ending of water island, whilst the latter being more.. idk how to describe it but it makes the climax cooler. It’s also good as a secondary bass at the near end of the song. Chris did a really good job!

5 - Cherubble

I couldn’t place it any higher, sorry Cherubble fans, and sorry Illusionizer. It’s a beautiful monster, with its harp sounds sounding like something from heaven. It’s just not higher bc the others are cooler. It’s a great monster though. All the singles are great.

6 - Strombonin

STOP OVERPOWERING THE ISLAND ITS GETTING ANNOYING- anyways Strombonin is great in the introduction of mythical island, working very well with Gjoob in there. Its cold island sound is pretty great too! Not as good as mythical but I’ll take it. Continent, though… it’s… something. Ruins the PomPom and Cybop verse. It’s also got a problem in the end verse, which is being unnecessary there. Pretty much every mythical is unnecessary in the final verse (with Reedling, Spunge, Gnarls, Mimic, etc). Thank goodness for mute and volume change am I right?

7 - Catalizt

It’s just cute! I like it! Just not better than the other since it’s just there for transitions, but its noises are relaxing, anyways! A short but sweet review on this kitty cat! It deserves protection.

8 - Yawstrich

Pretty good monster ngl. Kinda catchy and it’s pretty good on each island it’s in. Air island isn’t the best, but it’s good anyways simply bc catchiness. Mythical island is a big step up from air, with its main vocal role, and extra catchiness, and continent is good, just maybe not put it at the end of the song, but instead where Quarrister plays. It’s still good. This is one of those rankings where the monsters are all good.

And that is my ranking. None of them are bad, really. It’s just Best to least good, and not best to worst. How would YOU rank this? Remember, RESPECT DA OPINIONS!!
