I'm not usually one for theory-crafting, and I'm not sure if someone else has come up with this yet, but here's something that I thought about recently.

So far, both Ethereal Islets have been close to the center of the torus. While it could be nothing, this could be hinting at something Ethereal-related being put at the center of the map, where Gold Island & Amber Island are, being spawned once the Ethereal Islets "harmonize" or something like that.

Whether this will be an Ethereal Gold Island or a Primordial Island, I'm not entirely sure of, but it's still something to think about.

This is a fun series I will likely continue for each paironormal element. These would basically be island skins that make the Mirror Magical Islands resemble their counterpart paironormal elements, kind of like how the Mirror Natural Islands look like their ethereal element counterparts.

Bio: After the Outer Islands crashed into the magical islands, each Mirror Magical Titan decided to attempt to take over their affected side. Each Titan took a different approach in doing this, some more successful than others.

Cruv'laapht used yarn similar to the strings utilized by the Control Single Elemental to control its damaged side. The unaffected side can now use its many tentacles and claws to contol its other side, resulting in the stringy mess seen on that side. Overall, a success, however the strings occasionally get knocked down by a passing meteor or something.

Look, I know we won't have Crystal Islet until early 2026, but I just wanted to state this.

Can it please be underwater? Not since Water Island has an Island been underwater, and I just think it be neat. Plus, as Mirror Water showed, Crystals + Water = beautiful design. We've had Islands underground, in the sky, in space, on the MOOON, and even in faraway star systems. Why can't we go back into the water?

Mech islet was revealed to be another hand yesterday, here is what I think about the next three islets

So when Zarroë starts creating mech islet, you will notice there is no actual arm reaching up into the sky, instead just an electric signal or the digitized vhenshun being sent up there. Also in the security room, one of the computers says "mech islet build in progress", implying that Zarroë built the entire islet, so it isn't a part of the colossal. So I think that mech islet is just a floating mechanical hand in the sky, so Zarroë still has at least one more hand to use as an islet. This will likely be shadow islet. I think that then, crystal and poison islets will be Zarroë's feet. I also think that Zarroë's full colossal body is likely sitting on something, so its feet would be dangling downward.

Since the addition of the new Map, the Mirror timeline has been getting new additions rather quickly! Mirror Magical islands, the Paironormals which are mechanically tied to the timelines, and the Ethereal islets! And they're not going to stop any time soon, the Mirror Map needs to be filled! Aside from some obvious upcoming additions, there are many possibilities to explore and theorize about.

Starting with Zarroë, who is using the Mirror timeline to make all of their dreams come true. The simple fact that the Ethereal Elements are more stable in the Mirror timeline has allowed the creation of the Workshop Ethereals, and recently, the Ethereal islets! We just have to wait for the remaining 4 to release.

But Zarroë isn't going to stop there. The islets are merely preparations for their magnum opus, their biggest project ever, the union of all Ethereals on one island! An Ethereal Gold island, perhaps. And that name might be slightly more accurate than we originally thought! Since the islets are going to be close to their counterpart Mirror Natural islands, it's safe to say the All-Ethereals island will sit in the middle of the Map, in place of Gold island! Zarroë would show off like that.

Another thing to consider are the Primordials. It's weird, since the idea of bringing back the DoF Diamond Packs as actual Monsters has been on the table for so long, now that we have them, I don't know what else can be done with them. I mean sure, there are the 5 Primoridal Elements, but just making hybrids out of them and calling it a day feels so uninspired and wasteful. The Primordials are also limited to one of each variant per islet, so you would have to get them in some other way on the theoretical Primoridal island.

There is a more uncoventional possibility for a Primordial island. They're the Colossals' abandoned Monster designs, so what about abandoned Colossal ELEMENT designs? Just a bunch of wacky, unrestriced Element ideas, like Fungus, Food, Desert, Troll, ORANGE, whatever! Their Element borders would look like the other Primordial Elements. Throw in a Fire Primordial, too, why not.

From wild speculation to something more obvious, the Mirror Fire islands! I will not hear anyone out, we're obviously going to get them some day. As for the design, most predictions base them off of the Electricity Element. Makes sense, considering that it's Fire's counterpart Element. However, the Mirror Magical islands are based on the Outer islands, which throws a wrench in the mix. It would be interesting to see how the "Ethereal incursion" described in the Mirror Natural islands' bio impacted Fire Haven. We need those additional Breeding Structures to zap Epic Fire eggs!

Speaking of the Mirror Magical islands, the future of the Paironormals also seems pretty clear. After the Light and Bone Paironormals release, we'll get some kind of Paironormal island where their Elements combine, just like Magical Sanctum. The question remains how exactly it's going to work. Will we get two islands, a Major and Minor? Will it be one island, but you can flip the song with a button? A weird Schrödringer's cat situation? Whatever it is, I expect that is where the Paironormals are going to end. Just like Seasonals and Mythicals, they get their own island and it's only variants from there.

Finally, to discuss some lore. The Mirror timeline is just a what-if scenario of the Main timeline, meaning that it should have all of its worldbuilding. There are the Mirror Natural islands, so there should be Mirror versions of every Colossal. There should be a Mirror Pocket Dimension, with a Mirror Zarroë. They probably wouldn't be happy with Main Zarroë literally breaking into their turf, right?

There are the Mirror Magical islands, so there should be a Mirror Stair Shaper, with Mirror Magical Nexus. Main Stair Shaper stole the Outer islands from the Prism Gate, and it probably isn't too happy about that, since it has been described as sentient. Is there a Mirror Enchantler? Why wouldn't there be?

There's Wubbox, so should there be a Mirror Wublin island? The Storm exists on the Mirror Map. There are Seasonals, so should there be Mirror Seasonal Shanty? Mirror Dream Crafter and Mirror Cataliszt? The Mirror Higher Plane? Where are all of the dimensions on the Mirror Map anyways??

Yeah this is a massive rabbit hole, but this is what the devs will have to deal with the more they keep adding things to the Mirror Map. Will any more "Mirror-" variants of islands be released, aside from the Mirror Fire islands? Probably not. Will they come up with lore explanations for their absence? Probably not. Perhaps some things are better left forgotten, for now.

The “Elysian” class!

Meaning that Prismatic Chasm is the first ever elysian island to ever exist!

There will be a 2nd elysian island planned soon and it will be based off the wondermine from DOF.

All elysian islands can be found in the mirror timeline map.

Every elysian singles can be bought with maybe 10k or 15k shards in their own island and yes, there ARE breeding structures on elysian islands, so you can breed ethereal + elysian monsters there!

Nobody asked for this, however, nobody can stop me from doing this.

1. Are the monsters mammals? Birds? Reptiles? Fungus?!: They all seem to hatch from an egg, but that has been confirmed to be more similar to fungal spores. I believe they are an advanced form of highly adaptable fungus-like being that I will simply call the Monsterous Fungus for the purposes of this demonstration. The Monsterous Fungus can spontaneously create large spore packages, which through the use of the breeding structure, allows for reproduction through the carefully mixing of the genetic packages.

2. Some monsters seem to have fur like mammals, others feathers like birds, but they all seem to be called furthurs despite their differences. Why’s that?: I believe “furthur” is a blanket term that simply describes plumage that covers a monster, no matter if its fur or feathers. The vast differences between the many things that are all called furthurs leads me to believe that it’s not the same type of material. Not sure why they’d complicate things like this, but whatever.

1. Are some Earth monsters like Noggin actually living rocks and thus silicon based lifeforms?: I believe monsters like Noggin or Quarister are parasitic creatures living within a rock. Alternatively, the “rocks” aren’t actually stones, but instead a hardened exoskeleton that resemble socks as a form of camouflage.

2. Hat is the purpose of Element number?: I believe that element number closely relates to genetic complexity. The more elements a monster has, the more complex its genetic code will be. There are exceptions to this, like Mythicals and Seasonals, which somehow simply their elemental complexity into a single other element.

3. How do elements actually manifest? Is there even a set pattern to how they do?: I am under the impression that elements may manifest in a number of ways, such as the cold element manifesting as fur in Maw or as Ice in Deedge. Certain elements may not even manifest at all, such as the rock element in HippityHop. The more elements a monster has, the less some elements may manifest and the more others may manifest. This is especially evident in Quads.

4. How do Rares and Epic work?: I think that monster genetics are volatile in very specific places, and may give way to specific recurring mutations multiple times. The reason Epics cannot breed is because their genetics are too volatile to produce spores, thus dooming their lineage unless the same mutation occurs again.

5. What separates the Monsters from the Critters?: I believe that critters are a separate evolutionary offshoot from the monsters, with any resemblance being mere convergence.

6. How are Peckinda and the other Playbackyderms related?: I believe the Stair Shaper simply used Playbackyderm DNA in their creation, even though it was separate from the evolutionary lineage of the true Playbackyderms.

7. How do monsters made of bones hold themselves together?: Besides simply being magic, which is certainly possible due to literally being in the Magical class, I think the bones may actually be a hard exoskeleton, not dissimilar to insects or one of my interpretations of the Earth elementals. The soft insides, such as muscles and tendons that hold the bones a pin place and allow them to move, are on the inside of this exoskeleton. In the case of Punkleton, I agree with Creeptanium’s idea that the bone-like exoskeleton houses muscle-like vines allowing for locomotion.

8. What are the Wublins?: I once again agree with Creeptanium’s theory, this time being that Bubblerite is a slime mold-like offshoot of the Monsterous Fungus that works as a single organism, despite being made up of many. The Bubblerite colony can go into a state of dormancy when necessary, which makes it behave similarly to stone. When energy becomes more abundant, or when activated by a sudden jolt of energy, the Bubblerite colony reawakens. Depending on its position colony, each single organism in the Bubblerite can quickly adapt to its new function, allowing for those in the legs to behave as such and so on.

Oh, and I don’t really have anything for April fools, so have this abomination instead.

So I was thinking about this for sometime, but I wanted to give my MSM AU a new name instead of it sharing the same name as a story set within said AU, and I even decided to make a new logo for it.

So, introducing, The Tales of Torus! The AU will remain the same for the most part, only the name was changed. I will definitely share some updates on it here in the near future.
