Original for comparison:
I remembered Google Sheets had a built in zoom function, so now you get my prediction chart in a higher quality that usual.
As implied by the subtitle, this version ignores the suspected release dates of the remaining Islets. I also haven't made any attempts to predict new spaces for them, and placing Rarethereals where they would go. It would be unfair for Mech Islet to be the only Islet that doesn't coincide with the release of a new Ethereal variant (Plasma came with Epic Fung Pray). I don't know, I'm having trouble transitioning to the actual meat of this post.
First and foremost, you might noticed this change:
Old: (33333)34334343445
New: (33333)33434343445
I switched around the distribution a bit. And this technically lines up with the distribution order of the Commons, which is an idea I've played with in previous timelines.
Something else different that I like is the position of the Triples next to the Quads. Originally, Rare Rhysmuth came right after Rare Teeter-Tauter, and Rare Pentumbra came right after Rare X'rt. Now, the Quads are still is reverse order, but the Triples are much more out of order, because you know if there's one thing I hate, it's variant repetition. Ok, Now let's get on to the date explanations.
October 2025 - Skipped?:
Technically this is not a month skip, as Rare Auglur already released on October 1st. I call it a skip, because it was utilized in my last timeline, and a lot of people seem to have a consensus that Rarethereal #21 will release in October anyway. You know me, I am contractually obligated to be different. But that doesn't mean I don't think Rarethereal #21 won't be...
November 2025 - Rare Nitebear:
Good ol' RareBear. Even it not coinciding with Spooky Month, it still feels like the next step forward. RareBear in Feast-Ember is another idea I've explored in a previous timeline. At the time, I had no good reason for it, but thankfully Terref gave me a decent excuse.

And in the meantime, I actually came up with another excuse on my own. The Five Nights At Freddy's 2 game initially released on November 11th, 2014. Isn't that date awfully close to November 12th? Nitebear is a walking FNAF refrence, and Rares are essentially sequels to the Commons. So Rare Nitebear/Nitebear 2 releasing near the same time as FNAF 2 works. I originally made the excuse to skip November because of Mirror Fire Islands. But imma be totally honest, we got Wanderer Island, Paironormal Carnival, and were about to get Mirror PC and/or potentially Shadow Islet. I know we usually get big things during Feast-Ember, but personally, I think we need a break from major content (no pun indented). November 12th is also the day of the next Quintessence.
Speaking in which, I have to go on a quick tangent. Many people think Epic Candelavera will be the first Epic Quint releasing in Feast-Ember. But honestly, I kinda like the idea of Epic Candelavera and Epic Mimic surprise swapping places. First and foremost, the very last Fire monster (Under WubHex propaganda) being THE Epic Fire Top Boss is fitting. Secondly, while were on the subject of FNAF, do you perhaps know what FNAF character has been getting really popular lately with its disasterpiece fan-song, and it's own game in June? The MIMIC. Epic MIMIC + Rare Nitebear = The ultimate FNAF tribute. Anyways...
December 2025 - Rare Teeter-Tauter:
Oh Rare Tater Tots. My go-to timeline beginner from about June to September. But that's in the past. Now we gotta find a spot of them in the future. I originally placed them in March with Crystal Islet, but that dream is dead and gone. Now I can go back to putting the party horn monster at a time of celebration instead, and guess what celebratory eveny is happening on a Wednesday this year? New Year's Eve. I'm imagining a short revealing it with the caption "Celebrate the new year with the Rare Teeter-Tauter!" or something along those lines.
January 2026 - Rare Oogiddy:
Even before the MPC teaser potentially disproving Shadow Islet, I wanted to change up this timeline, and it's all because of this ridiculous beginning that my brain tried and fail to convince me that it was justified.
It's so ugly, the skips feel so forced, it's semi-misleading because people will think they're releasing every other month like the Epic Wublins, and the gap between Rare Oogiddy and Rare Piplash has no reason to be 10 week long, the same as the gap between Rare Whaill & Rare BeMeebEth. Making sure Rare BeMeebEth's gap was the longest one was one of my top priorities.
Anyways, January 2026 is basically the only spot it can go with the rules I've put in place. My intent is to match up Rare Oogiddy's release with Epic Bowhead's release so we can have a Double Boss release. A Double Triple Bossy Deluxe on a raft, if you will. Also, while I was looking through random holidays, I found out January 6th is National Cuddle Day. Oogiddy is based on a cuddlefish, so that could be another excuse for a January release.
February 2026 - Rare Piplash (Unchanged):
I'm so glad I devised a better layout for the first few month, because I couldn't bring myself to place Rare Piplash anywhere but on George Harrison's birthday. Now the gap is much less ugly.
March 2026 - Rare Rhysmuth:
March 25th is the beginning of Eggs-Travaganza, perfect time for the Rare Crystal Quad. There's something odd about Water & Crystal that always match in different contexts. For example, Rhysmuth is the only Ethereal Quad who's element match up with their respective Natural Quad when converting the elements. It makes sense for Rare Rhysmuth to be the only one to release in the correct seasonal event. But that's not the only Rarethereal coming in E-T.
April 2026 - Rare X'rt:
IT'S BACK... AGAIN. One of two of the most perfect monsters to release on April Fools Day. If they don't end up breaking the Epic Dreamythical pattern for Epic Wheezel, they've got Rare X'rt as a backup. Heck, they could add both if they really want to. I mean this day won't fall on a Wednesday until 11 years after, now's the perfect time to use it to the fullest. This is the only instance after the first five that two Rarethereal release on back to back weeks. Why? Because it's funny.
May 2026 - Skipped:
I dealt with the first month skip, and the third one I kept as it was already perfect. Now, I need a spot for the second month skip. I decided on May. If Mirror Fire Islands don't come in Feast-Ember, the next best spot is the other Fire Island's seasonal event. Something else to note is if Epic Candelavera does close the book on the Epic Fires in Perplexplore, it would be fitting for the Mirror Fire Islands to come alongside it. (And because they will most likely be based on Electricity, perhaps a new Epic Wublin or even two on the same day would be a good idea. But that's a discussion for another day). To be clear, I'm not saying that's the reason it's getting skipped like last time, I'm just saying what could happen then.
June 2026 - Rare Vhenshun:
Now with May skipped, I can slip Rare Vhenshun into Life-Formula again. Except last time it was the second week, now it's the first week, because otherwise the gap between Rare X'rt and Rare Vhenshun would be 10 weeks.
July 2026 - Rare Flasque:
Right now, I have it set for the 15th, which is the start of SummerSong, but if the Ethereal Islet pattern still ends up being right, I wouldn't mind if they put in on the day of Poison Islet instead, which would be the week before. that doesn't mean I'm gonna change it to that when the time comes however. I kinda want the Flasque variants to experiment with more unique, non-toxic liquids. Since it's coming in SummerSong, perhaps it can be some coconut milk or the Tropical Slime for the DoF. We got coconut tree Rare Frondley last SummerSong, it would cool if they kept that coconut theme going.
August 2026 to November 2026 (Unchanged):
Rare Penny, Rare Plasmanian Devil, and Rare Purifoy have not changed from the previous timeline.
That's it. I'm so happy with how this turned out. If the Ethereal Islets order ends up being correct after all, I'm not changing any of this, that's how much I love it. And if Rare Nitebear does come on the 29th, cool. As I always say, I'd rather be right previously than wrong entirely. If I get even a single thing right, I might think about taking the clown wear off my pfp.
Regardless, I have myself a spare Marschaall, so I'm in a good spot.
