I'm tired of repeating myself, so if you want a recap on why I'm so adamant about Epic Mimic this month, click on my account and see my post & reply history. I'm not gonna yap if I don't have something new to say. And today I do.

The thing about this promo that interest me the most is the Saturday "sneak peek". Something about that wording makes me feel like this is actually not a traditional trailer. What I mean is this won't be for something major in terms of size like a new island, but rather major in significance.

Let's think about this. Say they take the boring route and make it Epic Candelavera, and there reasoning for the delay is to make it occur in Feast-Ember. So then, why do they get a Saturday sneak peek? Yeah, it's the first ever Epic Quint, but that just doesn't feel worthy of a Saturday reveal.

Now let's imagine it's Epic Mimic. It might not be magnificent design wise, but that doesn't make it any less special. Epic Mimic coming next week will not only be the first Epic Quint, but also mark the grand finale of the Natural class. The class that started it all, the oldest and most influential class in the game, the class that walked so the Paironormals could run. I don't know about you, but I think closing the book on the Natural class after 13 years is HUGE.

Heck, while were honoring the Naturals, I wouldn't be surprised if they also put Mimic and its variants on Gold Island already. That would make things a little bit more worthy of a special video. One other fun thing I noticed (I have no idea if this was intentional, I just love it because I'm a nerd): Epic Mimic is presumably releasing 1.5 years after Common Mimic, the video is releasing on November 15th, the required level for sending a monster to Gold Island is 15, and while in-game it says Gold has 116 monsters, that's only because each Epic Wubbox phase counts as their own monsters. In actuality, Gold Island has 112 unique monsters, meaning once the Mimic's come, it'll be at 115.

And you know what I just now noticed? Gold Island literally released in November. Gold island gets its first and last monsters during the same month. Look, whatever happens whenever, I want the release of Epic Mimic to mark the next era of the Mimic. While it's classified at the Air Top Boss, it is, and will always been the modern day Natural Top Boss.

As I said at the beginning, I'm sick of repeating myself, so I'm thankful for this Saturday sneak peek so the arguments can finally be put to rest no matter who is right. I've probably written a whole novella's worth of content relating to Epic Mimic, and that's because I care. My theories are a love letter to this game. I love this game, and I want the best for it. And I feel much happier knowing this time around, many other people are agreeing with me.

Why did the game notify me of new mail when the mail is nowhere to be seen

So, I've been trying to figure out a concrete pattern for when each Seasonal Event happens in the year. I thought of checking when each Event's Mailbox Reward is gifted out, since those should come out on the days each Event is centered around, right?

Here's the thing, only SOME of the Seasonal Event pages have a Mailbox Reward section. Here are all of the ones that DON'T:

- Crescendo Moon

- Anniversary Month (does it even get one?)

- Spooktacle

- Beat-Hereafter

- Feast-Ember

- Festival of Yay

(Has somebody started adding these since this year's Season of Love? These events are all in order.)

I say this because I want to figure out what these important days are. The days which each Event MUST cover under any means necessary. For some Events it's obvious, but for others not so much.

Crescendo Moon

Based on Lunar New Year, the date of which can be somewhere between Jan 21st and Feb 20th. This makes it jump around each year, and may sometimes require the "Almost in Season" promotion for Adult Hornacle if it slips out of January.

Season of Love

Easy, Valentines Day on Feb 14th.

Cloverspell

Easy, St. Patrick's Day on Mar 17th.

Eggs-Travaganza

Based on Easter, whose date is also different each year, in the range of Mar 22nd to Apr 25th.

Echoes of Eco

Actually based on two days, Earth day on Apr 22nd and Arbor Day, which happens on the last Friday in April. The Mailbox Reward is given out on Arbor Day, most likely because it's the closer to the end of the Event.

Perplexplore

Based on Museum Day, on May 18th. I wouldn't be surprised if some of you didn't know this.

Life-Formula

Now I'm sure some of you will be surprised by this, but Life-Formula DOES have a special date, it's Ghazt's release date, Jun 14th.

Skypainting

It's a little interesting, since it's themed around Pride Month, more accurately Pride Day on Jun 28th. However, the Mailbox Reward is given out either on Canada Day, July 1st, or the 4th of July. Again, most likely so that it's closer to the end of the Event.

SummerSong

I've got nothing. It's just themed around the concept of summer vacation. What date could it possibly be centered around??

MindBoggle

Same thing as SummerSong, it's themed around the concept of Back to School. This year's Mailbox Reward was given out on Aug 15th, but I dunno what that date could mean.

Anniversary Month

It covers the entire month of September, during which both MSM and DoF were released. I almost didn't bother mentioning it.

Spooktacle

Easy, Halloween on Oct 31st.

Beat-Hereafter

Easy, Day of the Dead on Nov 2nd.

Feast-Ember

Based on American Thanksgiving, on the fourth Thursday in November. NOT the Canadian Thanksgiving though, it doesn't cover that one.

Festival of Yay

Easy, Christmas on Dec 25th.

Oogiddy is the best example of a monster that is not at all what your expecting, but in a really really good way. I was never a fan of all the Poison Quad predictions that were just bug, Dronesect, electric guitar, or generic string. I don't know how they came up with something this weird, and somehow make it work extremely well. I'd love to say a lot more, but it's really hard to describe what makes Oogiddy feel so special to me. I'm curious to see how Poison Islet is executed, because while its not as major of a contrast as Jeeode and Rhysmuth, Humbug & Oogiddy still give off different vibes.

I appreciate that the Humbug sale they put out today is the same image as last year with the Oogiddy teaser, as a way to acknowledge the anniversary.

I understand this is a lot to throw out at once, but there's just so much going on, and so little time left to speculate. Also, I realized I forgot to say happy Valentine’s Day in my last post. Happy Valentine’s Day :D

Ok anyways, AAAA TOMMOROW IN THE DAY. There are many people predicting that this island will release in phases based on elements: Respective single, two Doubles, two Triples, and respective Quad, and BeMeebEth standalone as the last phase. The issue with this is the two monsters we've seen being taken from the hand are Whaill & Reebro. I think it would be weird to show one monster getting grabbed even though they won't be coming until later.

So this could mean one of three things. Either this is Plasma Island (Strong Maybe), were getting every common Ethereal on this island in one day (Strong Maybe as well), or this release order is different from what people are predicting (the topic of this post). You may remember my old proposal of the release order of an Ethereal union based onthe idea of Ethereal Quad Islands, but the more I think about, the more flawed it becomes.

The thing I like about the common fan release order was it symmetry. SO I wanted a new order that reflect that symmetry is a new fresh way, and here's what I came up with.

Its similar to a stage play. A 3-Act Structure, with an Epilogue. Act 1 is the "PlasMech" phase with its respective Singes, Quads, and the rest being monster who have Plasma and/or Mech. Act 2 is the "Cryshadow" phase, with the same format, but with Shadow and/or Crystal monsters. Finally, Act 3 is the Lonely Poison phase. Thanks to my choices of monsters for the previous Acts, all remaining monsters contain the Poison element. Finally, its all capped off with the "BeMeebEpilogue". If you want to, you can also count the upcoming trailer as the Prologue. I'm not sure how they'll approach the variants. Either the variants come at the same time as the commons much like Nexus, the variants will come later much like Amber, or this island just doesn't supports variants much like Tribal. The song is what I'm sure were all most interested in, so I'm leaving the variants up to fate.

What I like about this method is that each act has an even split of Island & Workshop monsters, specifically five each. A majority of islands begin with five monsters, and having Ethereal Cluster begin with 10 monsters, five from each island makes it truly feel like these island are uniting.

Not to mention, the three doubles features in Act 1 were the same three Doubles from the first update of Ethereal Island, which also included Ghazt and Reebro, which were the first two Ethereals ever. Similarly, Whaill and Vhenshun were also the first two Ethereal Quads ever. Finally, every Triple featured in Act 1 is a triple that appeared in the first wave of Ethereal Workshop.

The rest of the Singles and Quads are released on Ethereal Cluster in the same order as they're initial releases, and Act 2 & 3 both contain a Triple from EW Wave One, a Triple from EW Wave Two, and at least one Triple from the remaining EW Waves. That's about it for the similarities, but who really cares if they're not perfectly adjacent to their previous island release orders.

This new island is a Class Unity Island with no new monsters, so to me, it doesn't make sense to drag it out for too long, but I also think were not gonna have a Magical Nexus situation ever again. Then again, given just how much hype we've been getting over the past few months, a full song on day one is still plausible. One last thing, I have some ideas regarding the specific dates these Acts release on, but I'll keep them to myself for now.

Ok, the main part of this post is complete, now let's change the subject a bit. While I did mention Plasma Island as an option for what's coming tomorrow, Ethereal Quad Islands are a controversial topic. So I was wondering if there was a way to do Quad Ethereal Island without Blow'ting the class. I have two idea. The first one is a idea I've already talked about, and the feedback was just as I expected.

My second idea is still a bit improbable, but less. It has to do with something I've suggested in the past. Mirror Ethereal Islands. So let's say Ethereal Cluster releases, and either on the same day or a later date, we get Mirror Ethereal Islands including the Cluster. The main song is just a standard MSM song format, but the Mirror song is actually split into five parts, and those parts act as Ethereal Quad Islands, with BeMeebEth just doing whatever it feels like. I understand some of the logistical issues of Mirror Ethereal Islands, I'm just throwing out a hypothetical that will make as many people happy as possible.

This last thing was a last minute addition, but I think its a good thing to point out, since I have yet to see anyone mention it. So the teaser for tomorrow's trailer came out earlier today. We know from experience, that the emphasized word in the in-game promotional image is always linked to the update in some way. For example, Workshop's emphasized word was "head" because the island took place in Zarroë's head. This trailers emphasized word is "LOVE". Now, there's something interesting about this promotional image that is different from previous ones that I want you to notice.

Every other example, the emphasized word is only emphasized via a color change, but for this one, its a different color AND its in all caps. Even in the caption from the YouTube teaser LOVE is in all caps. This word has significance to this update in a different way. What if "LOVE" is an acronym?

I'd imagine the E is for "Ethereals", and my best guess for the L & O is "Lair Of", but the V has perplexed me. It could be a lot of things. I'm also throwing out the possibility that this is NOT an acronym. Maybe something like "Ethereal Love Letter". We've never had an island with a name longer than two words, and that's something I've always wanted for some reason. Either way, I guess that's why they decided to release this is Season Of Love.

Can we make a page with everything from the mailbox and what date it showed? this can help with keeping the history of the game and, with access to them forever, we can find teasers even after the pop-up is gone.

And considering I have 6 days until I get the 25 diamond daily goal prize (and the whole Feast-Ember Mailbox diamonds), I am sure by around the day I get the 10 day daily prize, I might have 50+ Diamonds. I'm guessing around 81 diamonds, maybe more if my wublins decide to give me any.

There was also a sale where bowhead (Where its price was originally 45 starpower) now costed 15 starpower. When I saw the price sale, I wanted to get it, but the Gui was messed up, by sending you somewhere else like Their Twitter when you click on somewhere like the market.

I think the mailbox diamonds thing said something like "Monster handlers be like: Here have like 103 diamonds" and they were there, I think the MHs were joking around when they did this. It had the Diamond Hourglass icon instead of the usual Monster Handlers icon.

The Bowhead Sale had Wublin island as the background, with some fog, and Rare bowhead in a teaser-like way (Shown partly, but not as a silhouette.). I think in this dream, the monster handlers were just messing with me with a HUGE deal and a lot of diamonds, but sending me elsewhere when I try to enter the market, collection book, etc.
