Rare Gnarls - rare gnarls and rare potbelly are both warm colors and have an extra head (or gnarl). Additionaly, both are associated with workout and training. Rare gnarls sap is said to work as an energy drink for workouts, and rare potbelly has a six pack.
Rare tuskski - Obviously the colour scheme, but both of them have adapted to their environment in some way.
Rare mimic - Obviously the color scheme. I don't think theres anything else, but correct me if i'm wrong.
Rare Bowhead - rare toe jammer switches from green to orange, and rare bowhead has blueish green skin and orange-beige hair. Additionaly, its hair is said to be marshmallowey smooth, while rare toe jammer is filled with marshmallows.
Rare drummidary - both rare drummidary and rare noggin represent buildings in some way. Rare noggins are building blocks and rare drummidairies are fully-built castles.
Rare candelavra - both rare candelavra and rare kayna are implied to be very old breeds of the monster. Both of them mention their flames never going out in their bios. Also the color scheme obviously
Look at what me and my brother made!
Gnarly, am I right? What a work of Art! :D

Alright, bet.
I dug into the Shhimmer Depths of my mind and pick out 12 of my favorite monsters(I forgot about Clavi Gnat, don't worry about it). Piplash being my all-time favorite I had to put it at the top. I just kinda placed every monster as I was going, so that's why the sizing is all messy. It being an Islet, I had to put a eye on it. I don't know where that eye PNG came from, I just found it on my computer. To represent Workshop being favorite island & considering every monster to be honorable mentions, I decided to make EW the backdrop but with inverted colors because why not. Finally, you're probably wondering what that white blob is. That's the Primordial stand-in. Its name is Chiip ‘n Waal. It's an monster I made for a video two years ago based on a childhood idea from nine years ago. Even though nowadays, I don't think that video is very good, but this felt like a good opportunity to honor the one and only fan monster I ever made.
Greeny Islet; releasing Wednesday, August 28, 2047

You’re picking flowers for a spouse, family member, or someone else. You finish picking the flowers and proceed to walk towards your spouse/family member/whatever’s home. Along the way, a bit of wind comes in your direction, and your bouquet makes a weird choir sound. You soon realize…
One of the flowers you took was from a sleeping Gnarls! What do you do?
I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but I recently checked the length of several Quintessence promos, and I realized the majority of them them are 28 days long. The current one is set to end on December 10th, and the next one is the Yay reprise, which also last 28 days. Another fun fact about these promos is (a majority of the time) whenever there's a reprise sale, there's a one week gap instead of picking up right where the previous one ended. So with this, we can determine the dates of the next couple promos, which also reveal the release dates of the remaining Epic Fire Quints.
November 2025 Quintessence: Nov. 12th, 2025
Epic Candelavra: Nov. 19th, 2025
December 2025 Quintessence: Dec. 10th, 2025
January 2026 Quintessence + Epic Bowhead: Jan. 14th, 2026
February 2026 Quintessence + Epic Drummidary: Feb. 11th, 2026
March 2026 Quintessence + Epic Tuskski: Mar. 11th, 2026
April 2026 Quintessence + Epic Gnarls: Apr. 8th, 2026
But here's the thing. Even though we're not getting Epic Candelavra as the final Fire monster, I still want the class to have a tasteful conclusion. What if, not just Candelavra, but every Epic Fire Quint releases the week after their respective Quintessence promos begin?
November 2025 Quintessence: Nov. 12th, 2025
Epic Candelavra: Nov. 19th, 2025
December 2025 Quintessence: Dec. 10th, 2025
January 2026 Quintessence: Jan. 14th, 2026
Epic Bowhead: Jan. 21st, 2026
February 2026 Quintessence: Feb. 11th, 2026
Epic Drummidary: Feb. 18th, 2026
March 2026 Quintessence: Mar. 11th, 2026
Epic Tuskski: Mar. 18th, 2026
April 2026 Quintessence: Apr. 8th, 2026
Epic Gnarls: Apr. 15th, 2026
This idea works out really well imo. The last Fire monster (Which is also the Epic of the last Common Fire monster) releases in Amber Island's seasonal event (Which the Common did too). Along with that, Epic Tuskski still releases in Cloverspell (It lives there), Epic Drummidary still releases in SoL and/or CM, and Epic Bowhead still releases... nowhere.
Also, in case you don't remember, my placement for Rare Oogiddy in my RWTP was based around the day Epic Bowhead releases, so I gotta maneuver Rare Oogiddy as well.
This feel much nicer for whatever reason.
You're probably wondering "What about Epic Mimic?". I specifically said Epic Fire Quints instead of just Epic Quints for a reason. Mimic will always be its own entity in my eyes. Epic Mimic could come in May 2026, it could come in November 2026, it could come in Anniversary Month 2026, it could surprise drop next week, it could drop this December (it is the month of Air after all), it could release on January 2nd to match up with Rare Clamble just for the fun of it. Mimic is truly unpredictable, so I can't be bothered to make a guess anymore.

I'm 100% done with the commons!!!!!!!!!
Also I'm 50% complete with the whole island (48/96) when taking into account the epics that haven't released yet
Next will be BeMeebEth and Mimic, both will get their individual murals
This was pretty painful to draw.
