You know what they say: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
So if you saw yesterday's post (which surprisingly a lot of you did, 17 likes is crazy), I offered a potential theory regarding the pattern of Paironormals.
Now, I did say that they've been referencing it "a lot", it hasn't actually been that much, including one that came out today.
Whatever. I'm not gonna reexplain what I already wrote. so I'm just gonna get to it and say that I decided to put my theory to the test with a good ol' fashioned Greeny Beanie Timeliney (patent pending)
I decided this time to utilize Google Sheets' built in table feature. For some reason, it doesn't allow me to change to font or color of the header text.
The first thing I did was check each date to see what exactly we have to work with. My originally stated intention was 6 weeks for doubles, 7 weeks for triple, and by succession eight weeks for the quad. But doing eight weeks for the quad leads to the island ending on November 4th, and that feels odd. If we instead make the quad's gap 7, finishing the fourth 67, we then get an end date that near replicates the day that the PC Minor Mode released.
I was originally gonna stop at the dates, because after seeing Control-Depths (eRmA gUrDy) come before Control-Ruin, I was worried the order would be random, and hard to predict. But then I thought more about why exactly they skipped Control-Ruin. Jerm released with only 2/3 of the possible doubles used in breeding it. But if Control-Ruin came before eRmA gUrDy, then Control-Hoax-Depths would only have 1/3 doubles to breed. But doing it the other way around makes it so every new double that releases is the second to last double that can be used to breed the triple that release directly after it. Despite this small pivot, Control still ends up being the first element to get all of its doubles, with the rest of the element following suit.
And a few more dumb things while I'm at it (Sorry in advance):
2/3 as a percentage is 66.66% repeating, which can be rounded up to 66.7% or 67%.
Paironormal Carnival guest stars bbno$ as Scallyrags, whose also referenced 67 from time to time.
And finally, the 67 movement can be used to represent how the carnival modulates between...
You know what I can't take it anymore. I'm not finishing that sentence. I'm not gonna deny that my brain is rotted, but its for entirely different reasons.
Pinghound-Liszt:
it isnt really too much going on since eRmA gUrDy has a simple design
Forgot to post this yesterday, but here’s my last achievements of 2025:
Epic Humbug
& Minor eRmA gUrDy
Or does Minor eRmA gUrDy look like Gengar?
Reme🅿️er when using the 🅿️ emoji was cool. I do. I was there when this joke 🅿️egan. Yeah, anyways here's eRmA gUrDy.
It’s been like, 10 tries or smth
Btw I also bred an Epic Shellbeat
And Epic Clavavera

Idea: the pink-winged lifeform inside eRmA gUrDy isn’t dead.
Option 1: this is what the back of the left leg looks like
Option 2: all of the lifeforms molt their shells when eRmA gUrDy enters its Minor form, which explains why they have bat wings and different colors. In this case, the “corpse” is just the old shell and the “dead” lifeform is either free or is in a different place inside gUrDy.
I don’t even have an arcorina on bone island, let alone Paironormal Carnival
Reme🅱️er when using the 🅱️ emoji was cool. I do. I was there when this joke 🅱️egan. Yeah, anyways here's eRmA gUrDy.
Unlike the other three Paironormal Elements, what exactly Depths represents has always been a subject of debate, mostly due to a lack of references. However, I think I have an explanation:
Both the Major and Minor forms of the Monster represent two different concepts that are connected to each other, but contrast.
Both of Shhimmer’s forms are based on depths, but one “depths” is in the sky and the other’s is in the deep sea. eRmA gUrDy’s forms evoke interspecies relationships, with one being mutualism and the other being cheating/parasitism. It might be connected to the Beyond as well.
This extends to the Element’s icon as well, because, as stated by the wiki, it can be interpreted as an alien tentacle coming out of a black hole, or an octopus tentacle coming out of a whirlpool. It’s all about perspective (which is the appearance of depth in objects).
Still, with only two Monsters trying to represent a complex theme, this is simply a guess. As more get added, however, I’m sure the real meaning will shine through.
