Depths Element

Designs heavily inspired by the case of the "crying boy" painting, principally known for bringing bad luck to the owners of the copies of the paintings; this being the factor for the creation of my fanmade curse paironormal.

So uhh Yeah.

Unlike the other three Paironormal Elements, what exactly Depths represents has always been a subject of debate, mostly due to a lack of references. However, I think I have an explanation:

Both the Major and Minor forms of the Monster represent two different concepts that are connected to each other, but contrast.

Both of Shhimmer’s forms are based on depths, but one “depths” is in the sky and the other’s is in the deep sea. eRmA gUrDy’s forms evoke interspecies relationships, with one being mutualism and the other being cheating/parasitism. It might be connected to the Beyond as well.

This extends to the Element’s icon as well, because, as stated by the wiki, it can be interpreted as an alien tentacle coming out of a black hole, or an octopus tentacle coming out of a whirlpool. It’s all about perspective (which is the appearance of depth in objects).

Still, with only two Monsters trying to represent a complex theme, this is simply a guess. As more get added, however, I’m sure the real meaning will shine through.

Just some random prediction (that may not happen) for the impure Paironormals (mainly the doubles and triples) - I will also include electricity

Control

Plasma + Control - Possession (as in spirit possession)

Crystal + Control - Wealth (and leadership)

Electricity + Control - Remote (idk for this one, remote control?

Plasma + Crystal + Control - ???

Plasma + Electricity + Control - ???

Crystal + Electricity + Control - Knowledge (major is smart and knows how to take control, while the minor is dumb and doesn't know how to take control)

Hoax

Shadow + Hoax - Urban legends (that I can't think of on top of my head)

Poison + Hoax - Parasites

Electricity + Hoax - ???

Shadow + Poison + Hoax

Shadow + Electricity + Hoax - ???

Poison + Electricity + Hoax - Misinformation (how information from ai or comments on the internet can be false)

Ruin

Crystal + Ruin - Rune/Artifact (basically an extension of Acorina)

Poison + Ruin - Bacteria and Pests (major uses these pests to combat other pests, while the minor is overrun with them)

Electricity + Ruin - Power or technology (kinda overlaps with mech) / Energetic (basically Dakktyl, but the minor form is sleepy and low on energy)

Crystal + Poison + Ruin - ???

Crystal + Electricity + Ruin - Rome and Civilization

Poison + Electricity + Ruin

Depths

Plasma + Depths - ???

Shadow + Depths - Void (mainly just the fear of darkness, of space and sea)

Electricity + Depths - Filter (basically a Ufo and an Sea Anemone)

I don’t have much variety of colored pencils and it usually makes my drawings look strange so it was only on paper because of that.

Yup, i reused this concept to turn it into a paironormal, in this case, turning into a prediction for the hoax and depths paironormal. Also known as the Marvel paironormal!

This is a Paironormal I wanted to make for a while. This is FaceSard, the Emotional Paironormal (Hoax, Depths)

I always thought a Superb Bird Of Paradise would have been so cool to see in MSM, especially for something like a Paironormal. And I based them off of happiness and sadness since Superb BOPs have a smile like pattern, and I took it to the next level and I turned the feather smile into an actual mouth. I’ll be adding them to the MSM Ideas Wiki as soon as possible

Bio:

¿ʎɥM ¿ǝɹǝɥM ¿ʇɐɥM ¿oɥM, it’s an illusive monster that patrols the Carnival, that being the FaceSard, the Emotional Paironormal. This avian has a dark array of feathers, being darker than the abyss this creature emerged from, and with the help of it’s pure white eyes and it’s bright blue colours, they can form a face, producing a deep wave like sound, almost like a synth.

However despite having a big wide toothy grin, happiness is futile and being trapped in an endless cycle can drive you to your limits, can change you as a person, turning your colours drab and turning your frown upside down. And just like FaceSard, you’re definitely not the same person when you’re upset, you almost become a shell of your former self. Enough to make you ask Who, What, Where and Why…

^ Major Kuhzantrii (Ruin/Depths) (Element Reasons: hes deep in the pot, yknow in the DEPTHS of it and hos mental state is in RUIN, ya know?) (Sound: Cowbell And Kazoo) Bio: Kuhzantrii is..well..just look at it. obviously not very well. but..it it "it" or "them"? Kuhz's are legless, but thankfully the carnival has a pottery station! Thats where the "ntrii" comes in! The post are the called ntrii, having unique souls trapped inside, the pot is always shaking, and Kuhz just hope it takes them to where they want to go. Which is surprisingly common! They are both scared of stairs, and convinced the other Primordials not to go on them. But where does the "a" in in-between the two names come from? no idea. Still a mystery to this day.
