The last time someone called a post Opinion, things got pretty heated. *cough* Michael Phangelo *cough* But my opinion is that I think Bone Island is kinda mediocre. Sure, it has a good rhythm and song structure but I don't see myself enjoying it as much as the rest of the Magical Islands. All of the other Magical Islands feel unique but Bone Island feels just as generically popular as Earth Island. Light Island even with its repetition, makes it sound like a comforting lullaby. Psychic Island has one of the greatest rhythms I've heard in an MSM song. And Faerie Island is just an absolute bop. The songs of all of those Magical Islands make a name for themselves by being so different. But Bone Island just doesn't feel like that. It just feels bland and unripe to me. Also Gnarls is off-beat which really grinds my gears. Speaking of Gnarls, I think the Fire Expansion Monsters may have played a role in why I think this. The Fire Expansion Monsters revolutionized every Magical Island, except Bone Island. Bone Island just felt the exact same, boring and bland.
Well, I'm curious to see what people think. I feel like I'm gonna be torched but oh well.
